Halls of the Oracles、Roots of the Earth、The Chamber of the Seal、The Womb of the Earth 指揮官 名称 コスト 制限 雇用条件 解説 Pale One Scout 25g,7r 洞窟or要塞 偵察兵:水陸両用の偵察兵。 やはり水中戦を得意とする 地方守備隊 種別 指揮官 兵士 備考 地上下位 Pale One Commander Pale One 10 Pale One Warrior 10 Pale One Warriorは軽装型 地上上位 Earth Reader Pale One Warrior 10 Ancient Stone Hurler 5 Pale One Warriorは重装型、Ancient Stone Hurlerは軽装型 水中下位 Wet One Captain Wet One 15 Wet Oneは軽装型 水中上位 Ancient Wet One Wet One 15 Wet Oneは軽装型 魔法技能 条件 名称 固定 変動 備考 洞窟or要塞 Engraver 1 Sacred 要塞 Earth Reader 21 +1 100% Sacred 首都 Oracle of Subterranean Waters 133 +1 100% +1 10% Sacred 首都 Oracle of Subterranean Fires 133 +1 100% +1 10% Sacred 首都 The Womb of the Earthが追加され、地の宝石産出が1減少、代わりに水の宝石を産出するようになった 洞窟の州に建てた要塞からの収入ボーナスを得た 下級魔術師Engraverが追加、洞窟の州では要塞なしでも雇用可能 Earth Readerの基本魔力が向上、ランダムでは地を引かなくなった 首都にGreat OlmとOlm Sageが追加、さらに洞窟の州でも雇用可能 水中要塞にSacred兵Ancient Wet Oneが追加 固有魔法Bind Penumbral、Revive Cavern Wights、Unleash Imprisoned Ones、Living Mercuryが追加 Rhuax Pact、Barathrus Pactは首都でのみ発動可能になった Summon UmbralがBind Umbralに入れ替えられ、必要条件が増加 英雄が3種類追加 コメント 名前 コメント

3001Let s start again shall we? 3002I ll pay you a 100. 3003Glad you appreciate the true value of keeping your testicles. 3004I ll give you 50. 3005For 50, I ll make it hurt...less. 3006Much as I m glad to see the back of the Inquisition, I can t see things in town improving any time soon. 3007Why not? 3008You really can t see it? Esteban s no better than Romanov, that s why! 3009He talks of the people , but he just wants their adulation, and their money. He s not interested in their needs. 3010I ve been inside the Temple, the one to the East. 3011What was there? Is there anything to be had there? 3012Not any more. 3013You really cleaned up down there? 3014Good, stops the stuff getting into the hands of the Inquisition. 3015This gate must be opened. 3016I ll take a wild guess - you want a weapon. 3017I have a couple for sale. 3018If you tell me what you re after? 3019I need some better armour. 3020You won t find it out here. There s only workers clothes here. 3021Well, what about your armour? Where did that come from? 3022Armour for the hunters and fighters comes from the Don. 3023But you won t get close to that if you re not accepted as one of us. 3024Right, so I ve got to join the Don s gang first? 3025If it were up to me, we wouldn t leave a stone standing in here. 3026I hope the Inquisitor knows what he s doing. 3027Well, we re here. 3028Good luck in there. I ll make sure nothing and noone comes in after you. 3029Alright, I ll go on alone. The tomb I m looking for must be behind this waterfall. 3030Try to make it out in one piece. 3031I ll wait for you here. 3032How long have you been here? 3033A few days. They think they re softening me up. They want to know where I hid my gold . 3034And here was me thinking they only cared about spiritual matters. 3035What special abilities? 3036Ones that not every Warrior of the Order has. 3037Such as? 3038I m talking about dexterity. Sleight of hand. Relieving pockets of their burden. 3039Oh right. I see. 3040What? You re a thief. 3041Shush! reformed thief, reformed...I hardly take a thing these days. 3042How is the work going? 3043Glad to see you, we ve been having trouble! 3044I heard you re a pirate. 3045We re starting with the hard questions are we? 3046Can see why they sent you , gutterdog! 3047You going to point out I m in prison next? 3048Or ask me if the food s all right? 3049Let s talk compensation. 3050I was like you, once. All about the gold and the... dark place. I hope you find your higher purpose. 3051Nothing in this town is free. Especially not me. 3052Have it your way. If you help me, you can choose your reward. 3053You re one of the Don s men? 3054So, what s going on here? 3055Not much. I can t do anything while those scum-sucking White Robe bastards won t let me out of their sight. 3056Who is the oldest of the triplets? (Pickpocket) 3057Who is the oldest of the triplets? 3058Me, amazing how a few minutes, a slice of fate can put a man in charge isn t it? I wonder what the other two would have done if I hadn t been the first of the three of us to be born? 3059Who s to say. 3060What do you know about the theft? 3061What do you know about the theft? 3062My guess is the day labourers nicked them. All five plates! 3063But you d be hard pushed to find a brain amongst them. 3064Nah. Lukor s bound to be behind it. 3065Talk to him. Find out what he knows about those plates. 3066I heard something about those armour plates you re looking for. 3067Tongues are already wagging are they? 3068Not good. Not good at all. That means they ll soon be for sale and on their way out of town! 3069I bet Lukor s behind this. That man almost makes me want to go back to using my fists, again! Talk to him. Find out what he knows. 3070Lukor sent me. 3071Really? Did he give you my gold? 3072200 gold pieces and you can have the plates. 3073You re a fighter now, right? Well, I guess you earned it. 3074Costa hires me for a reason . 3075And now you know why. 3076Close 3077Sleep until the next morning. 3078Patty is looking for her father. 3079Ha. Show me someone who isn t looking for Captain Gregorius Steelbeard. 3080I ll tell you what I ll tell anyone, he was here a long time ago. 3081But where he is now, I don t know. 3082Tell me more about Commandant Carlos. 3083He is a Warrior of the Order of the Holy Flame. He spends most of his time in the guard house. 3084But his Warriors are ever vigilant, maintaining peace in the town. 3085Which cannot be said of the old town guard. 3086Hey, boy. Here, I ve got something for you! (Give raw meat) 3087Yes, you re a good boy! 3088You re working for the Don? 3089You ve just realised? 3090Yeah, I have orders from the Don. And when he gives orders, you obey. 3091Thing is, I could use some help. 3092Doesn t sound that bad. 3093Well, if you like the sound of it, go and see Santiago and join up! 3094They say piss always runs down hill, that why you keep coming back here? You thought about going to the small island...least that would take you away from here... 3095Look who it is. 3096Back for another beating? 3097Cocky bastard, aren t you? 3098What do you want? 3099Wily bugger like you needs to be watched. You re trouble, you are. 3100There s a reason they put me on guard duty. 3101Oh, you re not one of those lizard things! 3102No I m not. What are you doing here? 3103Hiding! I m not a fighter! 3104They came out of the library, straight into the laboratory. 3105I was only just able to close the door. 3106Halt...you aren t allowed in here. 3107Who is them ? 3108Them , the ancients. They re everywhere. Just listen! 3109The screams, the whispering. 3110I wish I couldn t hear it, I wish they weren t speaking to me . 3111I ve got a staff. 3112So you have, but do you know what to do with it? 3113(Say nothing) 3114... 3115... All right... 3116No, Master Aric. 3117Well then, it s a good job I m here, isn t it? 3118You hit things? 3119Simple answer, difficult skill. 3120Done right, this can turn a human body into a unrecognisable skin sack of broken bones. 3121To start you need to learn some moves from a few of our fighters. 3122Tucker, William and Kato. 3123When they re satisfied with your progress, come back and see me. 3124And I ll be keeping a close eye on you. 3125New recruits must do combat training with Tucker, William and Kato. Report back to Master Aric once all three have been faced and defeated. 3126I think that s clear enough... Master . 3127There. That s enough! 3128Are you still looking to test me? 3129Yes...I ve just thought of a good test for you. 3130I think I should try you with another kind of stick first. 3131Find yourself a broom and sweep out my chambers! 3132Master Aric s chambers must be swept before combat training can begin. 3133Sweep at least 10 piles of dust from Master Aric s chambers. 3134Can you run that by me again? 3135I am a patient man. I ve had to be. 3136But there is a limit to it. 3137And you are in danger of running up against it. 3138Got it, Aric. 3139Master Aric. 3140I will have respect, understand? 3141Yes, Master Aric! 3142Well then, off with you. And don t come back until you ve learned the basics! 3143How were you caught again? 3144I can fight clubs and arrows... 3145But the Saurians used magic. 3146Set me free, I have more revenge to take. 3147I d like to know more about what s happening here...why are you and your men in this swamp? 3148The Inquisitor has his claws sunk deep into the flesh of this island. 3149A firm grip upon the Harbour Town and the Monastery. 3150That s what he thinks...that s what others see - The Inquisition s numbers growing. 3151Men dragged into his service. 3152What I see is a man making enemies. A man wasting his strength against the creatures in the ruins. 3153So, we wait here...the spider in the corner of the web...and we bide our time. 3154What is the Inquisitor looking for in the temple ruins? 3155The White Robes take everything they discover to the Monastery. 3156And there the mages are working to unlock some secret. 3157This much I do know. 3158So far, they ve avoided this temple. But...for how much longer? 3159What do you plan to do? 3160I want my town back. It is our town. It belongs to the people of this island, not the mainland. 3161For that reason I left some of my men there when we withdrew. Gathering intelligence, frustrating the plans of the Inquisition. 3162They were supposed to be sending me information. 3163But I have heard little recently. These aren t times when plans run smoothly. 3164How can I help you? 3165Find out what is happening in Harbour Town. Find my men. 3166I have no idea if my men are alive, imprisoned, dead... 3167Or worse, if they have defected. 3168Go there, discover the truth for me. 3169The White Robes haven t attacked you and your men? 3170Right now, they are avoiding open war. 3171But if they don t find what they are searching for elsewhere, I am sure we can expect their eyes to turn to us. 3172What was it like before the Inquisitor was here? 3173Corrupt, as any land ruled from the mainland. Governor after governor, bleeding the people, courting favour. 3174When their men, the garrison, were withdrawn to the mainland, we were ready. I took control in the name of the people. 3175The brothels were clean, the prices fair. Men had dignity, pride. 3176Then the earth shook, the temple ruins rose... 3177And the Inquisition and all their ways came after them. Why here? Of all places they could have gone, why did they come here... 3178The Inquisitor is hiding something from us, but I shall find his secret. 3179And in the meantime, I shall strip as much as I can from those ruins. With gold, with gold you can fight power! 3180So, you and your brothers are travelling separately? 3181Easier to find work that way. Although I ve not seen Dytar for days. 3182I heard rumours Olf was being held prisoner in the merchants district. 3183No idea if that s true. 3184You don t seem too bothered. 3185Well, if it s true he can handle himself. Toughest of the three of us, he is. 3186Do you have a staff for me? 3187I don t. 3188But our smith will kit you out. 3189Hey, do you work here? 3190Sure do. If you re looking for somewhere to kip just go upstairs. 3191Pay Costa after. 3192Isn t it a bit odd to pay afterwards? 3193Don t ask me. I don t bring the business I just bring the muscle. 3194What is it you re guarding? 3195We ve got a VIP in there! 3196Captain Romanov is in that cell. You must have heard of him! Scourge of the high seas. 3197Famous is he? 3198Where ve you been? He terrorised most of the islands around here! 3199Do you have to do your work down here? 3200Alchemy is dangerous. It s not something you do in a crowded street. 3201You don t want people juggling your elbow... 3202Or stealing your secrets. 3203Besides it s quiet down here...most of the time. 3204Well done! Did you find something, Rufo? 3205Looks like you backed the right side, haven t you? 3206Still, least it means I can get out hunting again. Away from the stink of this town. 3207Do you know what lies in the lower vaults of this temple? 3208Looking at the inscriptions I think, I think this maybe a priest is buried here. 3209Whoever whatever built this temple they were deeply involved in dark magic. 3210I suggest you be extremely careful down there. 3211Take this scroll. I suspect you ll need it down there. 3212I bet as soon as the portal s open, all hell is going to break loose. 3213Show me how to prospect. 3214(Back) 3215Prospecting 3216First, you have to be able to tell where ore can be found. 3217You can t just go swinging at any old rock! 3218How do I recognise ore deposits? 3219The stone glitters, and the structure of the rock is different. 3220Often you can see ore bubbles. They hang on the rock like pimples. 3221When you find a good rock, take the pick in both hands and swing straight. That s very important. 3222The point has to hit the deposit square on, or the rock ll splinter then it s worthless. 3223Don t expect to be as good as I am from the off. It takes practice. But put in the time and you can make decent coin from prospecting. 3224I discovered that Alvaro has a blade staff in his cellar that his prize customer really wants. 3225Sounds like an opportunity. 3226I assume that Cid and Delgado have taught you the necessary talents for retrieving objects. 3227Well... 3228If not, you should catch up. Get a bit of advice from them. 3229And what do I do with the blade staff? 3230You ll give it back to him - like any upstanding citizen would. 3231Of course, not without pocketing an appropriate reward. 3232And Alvaro will play along with that? 3233He s a businessman. As long as you aren t too brazen he ll consider it. 3234What can you teach me? 3235Open locks 2 3236I need to learn how to pick difficult locks. 3237The principle is the same. Push down the bolt then try to crack the lock with the lock pick. 3238Course they ll be more complicated and might take you longer. 3239But you can guarantee that if there s a difficult lock, it s protecting something valuable! 3240Open locks 1 3241Can you show me how to pick locks? 3242Sure! First thing you should know is that most locks have a bolt that you have to push down to be able to open the lock. 3243Once you ve done that you can poke about with your lock pick until the lock opens. 3244But be careful. If you push too hard in the wrong direction some weaker lock picks might break. 3245Smithing 1 3246I d like to learn how to forge a weapon. 3247All right. I ll show you something simple. A one-handed sword. 3248To make any kind of sword you need a blank. That s your basic material. 3249Then you have to heat the blank on the forge. 3250When it glows, it means that the steel is hot enough to be beaten it into shape on the anvil. 3251After you ve done that, you quench the blade to temper it. 3252And then you sharpen it on the whetstone. 3253Is it only swords I can learn to forge? 3254I can teach you how to create simple magical jewellery. Although I much prefer working with blades, myself. 3255For jewellery you ll need a goldsmith s table. 3256Now, what makes the items magical are the precious stones you put in them. 3257You need a fair bit of skill to properly set your gems in a ring or amulet. 3258Smithing 3 3259I want to learn how to forge a two-handed sword. 3260You must be getting confident! You ll have to make the hammer dance on the glowing blade for one of those. 3261Fast, precise strokes. That s what you need. When you hear that special ringing sound from the unfinished blade, you know you re doing it right. 3262That s the song of the forge. One of our trade secrets. Means your bringing out the very best properties of the metal. That s how you create a masterpiece. 3263Smithing 2 3264I want to learn how to forge bastard swords. 3265Well, larger swords are a lot more challenging. 3266See a large blade cools faster. Means you have to work quicker and more precisely. 3267Grab the hammer higher up, then you don t need as much power and you can work faster. 3268That precision will also help you with goldsmithing. You can create finer pieces of jewellery using the same technique. 3269(Back) 3270I could just take the armour. 3271Oh, you think I m just some drunk? 3272I defended my farm against the monsters! 3273And I ll defend this against you. 3274You fancy your chances then? 3275If I have to. 3276All right. Where can I get Workers clothing? 3277Hawkins is your man. 3278He s one of the Don s lieutenants, he s in charge of the workers. 3279Let s take the fight to them. 3280For humanity, for the Flame! 3281Yes. I have it. 3282And what is it ? 3283A piece of armour from an ancient warrior. 3284What s so special about it? You can get armour anywhere. 3285I m hoping it will help me fight the Titan. 3286Titan? What are you talking about? 3287It s inside the volcano, look there s no time...I need to go and see Eldric the druid. 3288That guy? Well, if you re talking about Titans I suppose nothing is crazy compared to that. 3289Where are your brothers? 3290Dirk s at the Temple entrance. He s all right. 3291But Olf s disappeared! He went down that passage over there with the fighters. 3292Just answer the question. You are a pirate, right? 3293Pirate, murderer, criminal, thief. 3294I ve been called a lot. 3295Now they want to stick me in a cell to let me rot. 3296The world is going to hell! 3297I ve been to hell and came back whole. I stared down the throat of the beast, watched water turn to stone, and cities tremble as it swept down upon them! 3298Now they want to stick me in a cell to let me rot. 3299You think that makes sense in these times, gutterdog? 3300I m sure letting you wander the streets would be a great comfort to the people here... 3301The world s coming apart, we can all see our end in it. What comfort is there to be had in that? 3302Here, I found the three golden bowls. (For the Order) 3303I m impressed. Nimble work getting to them before they got to Esteban s rabble. 3304I ll let Commandant Carlos know of your success. 3305Thanks to you I didn t have to get violent. That s behind me now. 3306What do you know about Commandant Carlos? 3307Warrior of the Inquisition. A slimy, filthy bog-slug who happens to be the new lord of the town. 3308He and his guards represent the law. But they behave like there are no laws at all. 3309May they drown in the fifth hell... 3310Don t worry, I ll get your plates back. All five of them. 3311Watch yourself. That godforsaken lot won t just give them to you! 3312Carasco wants his five armour plates back. He says the day labourers stole them and Lukor is behind it. 3313200 gold pieces is too much. 3314So, that s the way the wind blows. You re helping him? 3315Let me tell you how we re going to do this. 3316You pay me my price, or you don t get the artefact. 3317Your choice. 3318A fighter, eh? 3319We ve got a score to settle. Fancy your chances again? 3320I think I d bet on me. Let s get this over with. 3321There s something here about artefacts. 3322Interesting! 3323There is a warning about restless bones in some of the sarcophagi. 3324Sleep until midnight. 3325What s the worst sort of customer you get in the bar? (Pickpocket) 3326What s the worst sort of customer you get in here? 3327Hey I love them all. But the ones that just come to fight I could do without. 3328Yeah, of course. 3329Sounds like you re no fan of the Inquisition. 3330Yeah and that bastard Hernandez has settled over there by the entrance and made himself comfortable. 3331Looks like he s happy to spend the rest of his life guarding it, dammit. 3332And I sit out here like an idiot, rain or shine. 3333I need to talk to you about the Inquisitor. 3334What is wrong? 3335Why are you not with him? 3336Mendoza? His plans caused this whole mess. 3337We have already lost control of the Monastery. 3338What further harm will he deal to us? 3339What are you doing out here? 3340Watching the road...for creatures. 3341And probably providing a free meal for any hungry beasties that come wandering by. 3342All right, Scordo, I know you ve been smuggling artefacts out of the town. 3343Do you now? 3344You know all artefacts are supposed to be handed to the Order. 3345You know, I think you re right. I found this sword in the ruins. 3346All I need are the names. 3347And all the Order needs is dedicated, trained Warriors. I make it my personal goal to provide them. 3348And there is no point in investigating if you can t defend yourself. Train, and we shall speak again. 3349Combat training must be completed before Master Pallas will help with the investigation. 3350All right. I ll investigate these unmarked graves. 3351Good. I ll mark the sites on your map. 3352And be careful. 3353We re not the only ones looking for the treasure. 3354I ll keep a low profile. 3355Hah, you haven t managed that since you arrived on the island. 3356I could do with a decent map of the island. 3357You don t have a map? Here, take mine. 3358So, they don t have to talk to you? 3359Keep the wise cracks coming and I ll crack that skull of yours. 3360You closed the door? 3361Yes. 3362I had to prevent those... those things from reaching the courtyard. 3365Halt...this is only for members of the Convocation. 3366You said you don t want to go back. Back to where? 3367Hawkins didn t send you? 3368He wants me to go back digging there. 3369But how can I go back? They will take me again! 3370What exactly happens up there, at the Monastery? 3371Normally, the Monastery is a place of peace and knowledge. 3372But now the Inquisition has taken up residence it has become a place to train recruits. 3373I m looking for work. 3374You could lug crates, but you have to talk to Carasco. 3375But you don t look like the crate lugging kind of guy. 3376What do I look like? 3377Like someone who will willingly to take greater risks for greater profits. 3378Here s someone who needs the protection of a good weapon. 3379You re free! 3380I owe you my life! 3381Let me fight for honour. 3382Let me fight at your side. 3383I ll see if I can help Olf. 3384He can handle himself. But if you re going that direction, then I suppose it couldn t hurt. 3385Dirk s brother, Olf, is being held prisoner somewhere in the merchant district. 3386You work for Costa? 3387Yeah. Got to get gold where you can. 3388Not much to be had down at the harbour. 3389No ships means no work. 3390You re acting suspiciously... 3391You re acting like a loud mouthed cock. 3392I want the truth, other people will just go with perception and you re a pirate. A pirate whose knife was used to kill someone. 3393Doesn t mean I did it. 3394To some people it d be enough to earn you the noose. 3395So, do you want to help me find the truth, or get hanged for playing the tough guy? 3396Hell s storms! I m a cook, not a fucking pirate! I ve been a cook for years, I stopped, I came here, I...for fuck s sake! 3397Hemlar was an idiot, got caught up in stuff, I was trying to help him. 3398I m listening. 3399He got his deliveries in the Cemetery. 3400He used to meet someone there at night. They did deals. He was earning, thought a few gold coins made him important... 3401I need a name, Harlok! Who was Hemlar s partner? 3402He never said. He had his secrets, I don t know. You want to know what his favourite food was yeah I can tell you...he didn t tell me who he dealt with. 3403You could have told me that earlier, saved yourself some hassle. 3404What did the prisoner in the jail do? 3405Captain Romanov is a pirate. Was a pirate... 3406Now he s just another prisoner. 3407We caught him smuggling goods from the mainland for the Don. 3408Of course Romanov s not the sort to pay for goods. He plundered, burned and killed his way across the coast. 3409Until the Inquisitor caught up with him. You see, law and order, safety. 3410The Don is gone and soon we will find the gold Romanov was paid by him. 3411Until he tells us where that is hidden he ll rot in his cell. 3412Is this your land? 3413It s me that farms it. 3414Then I use the Brugleweed that grows here to make beer. 3415Will you set a test for me? 3416A test? 3417I have to seek each Master and pass a test for them. 3418Oh. Well. I m not really prepared... 3419Let s see. Perhaps you could... 3420No, what am I thinking? That s a bad idea. 3421Where is the druid? 3422If I knew, he would be here with me. It seems there was a fight here. 3423Any sign as to where Eldric might have gone? 3424No. 3425But maybe we can find a clue in his hut. Well, then, get along, get looking! 3426Search Eldric s hut for clues to his disappearance. 3427So, what am I meant to tell the Inquisitor? 3428Sorry, you can t have your Crystal Disc back; the gnomes are using it as a kitchen table!? 3429We ve got to get it back somehow. 3430Good luck with that! 3431Hey, this is now as much your problem as it is mine. 3432I ve fought and I ve defeated all your fighters, will you face me now, or are you a coward? 3433Show a little respect, little fish . 3434I ll fight you...maybe that way I can teach you some respect. 3435Hey, how are things inside? 3436Rough, there are several dead. 3437We heard what was going on, killed all the lizards that came this way. 3438Good job. 3439There are still some lizards out there, but we ll be ready for them. 3440Bryn reported some coming out of the cave outside the Monastery. 3441Yeah, and this whole island s covered in ruins. If they appeared out of one of them... 3442...they could be popping out of all of them. 3443And these things are real, cold blooded killers... 3444How can I help you? 3445I need to know what Delgado is planning. 3446He s careful. He knows I m following him. But he is up to something. 3447Since you have spoken to him, maybe you can find out for me. 3448And we can block up another of the Don s rat holes. 3449Visit Delgado and find out what he s planning. 3450Weren t you listening? You need to talk to Taylor. I m Kalib - the handsome one. 3451Taylor is the fellow in the chamber across the way. 3452While you were out cold... 3453I took the liberty of lifting that piece of the sword blade from you 3454You thieving bastard! 3455Rob a man when he s down, would you? 3456You d have done the same to me, Brogar. 3457A drink? 3458Of course. 3459It s the Captain. Hey, Captain . Got any orders for us, Captain? 3460If you had all the gold in the world you d complain it was too heavy, wouldn t you? 3461I just don t like people who act like they re better than me. 3462Perhaps they are better than you. 3463Go and piss in someone else s ear. 3464Now, no one can see us here. So, let s have ourselves a little chat. 3465What about? 3466I ve met people like you. Troublemakers. 3467Right. So we re not here for the temple. 3468You re getting the picture. 3469It s just you and me. And you re going to give me your gold. 3470Can we talk about this? 3471I don t want to talk. I want you gone. Permanently. 3472Every scummy weasel that turns up here costs me a share of my gold. 3473Let s get this over. Draw your weapon. 3474See...I knew you were trouble. 3475If this is about gold... Have it. Here. 3476You think you can win me over like that? With gold? 3477Well, you re right. Give it here. Now consider our relationship over. 3478You ve not left yet? 3479"You ve not left yet"? Your mistake. 3480We ll see. 3481Who s Master Abrax? 3482The alchemist. 3483He hides away in the cellar. 3484It s tough to find your way down there in the dark. 3485But I remember where the entrance is. 3486I m on my way to the town. 3487You want to enter the town? 3488Well, if you want that and don t want to get sent to the Monastery by the Inquisition, don t go to the main gate. They ll catch you right away. 3489There s a rear gate to the southeast. 3490Leto s the guard there, slip him a couple of gold pieces, he ll let you in. 3491Thanks. 3492The Don must trust you to leave you with all his gold... 3493Don Esteban says, There is no one better than Karakos. 3494Honour is what matters to me. 3495Gold does not bring honour, only greed. 3496You re asking for a lot of gold. 3497Be glad I don t take twice as much to save you from the Monastery! 3498But I m not an arsehole... I m willing to haggle. 3499If you don t have enough gold, you can trade things instead. 3500Konrad has a couple of cows, he keeps them near the rear town gate. 3501Good to know. And? 3502He has the cows watched by a farmer. 3503Then take a look around there and talk to this farmer. 3504You re looking for a new body? 3505I sense your fear, human, but no that is not what I seek. 3506You d be a good opponent. Why don t you fight me in the arena? 3507Ah. I should have seen that coming. 3508Think about it. This is my domain. I even bet on myself. 3509You ve got spirit, but try someone easier. 3510It s certainly a magic barrier. 3511Can you open it? 3512You can do that yourself. There s a spell for it. 3513I brought a couple of scrolls. 3514Did you hide your artefact in the lighthouse? 3515What, you found it? Guess I m a much better treasure seeker than a treasure hider, ey?! 3516Well, you found it it s yours. Fair s fair. 3517Why is it so bad here? 3518We keep losing men to the worms. And there are even worse fates, too. 3519I d rather be anywhere else. But we have to collect anything made of gold and take them to Beppo. 3520We didn t expect to have to fight the monsters here. 3521We re not trained for it. And that bastard Brogar should be protecting us. 3522But do his fighters ever come and help? Do they hell. Too drunk, most of them. 3523I am ready to open the fourth and final Runic seal. (Requires 200 wisdom) 3524I am ready to open the fourth and final Runic seal. 3525It is the wisdom of the spirit you need. 3526Once you are prepared, we will conduct the ritual. 3527No...no you are not yet ready. 3528I ll create the scrolls myself. 3529As you wish. 3530Here, take your Rune. You will need it. 3531I need a few things. 3532I trust you will not forget to create a few scrolls as a Master. 3533It is always advisable to have some to hand. Particularly in the ruins. 3534Here, you will need these supplies. 3535I ve got a new job for you. 3536Let me guess - lugging crates..? 3537That s what you re paid to do. The crates at the south-eastern temple need to be brought back here. 3538And do I get a choice in this? 3539Humph...I should have been a fighter. 3540Ah, good thing you re here. 3541I ve been hearing rumours, but I want the news straight from you. 3542I need the names of everyone allowed to leave the Monastery. 3543Do you? And you need these names why? 3544I m investigating Hemlar s murder. 3545I see. Murder is a serious business. 3546However, I hope you aren t neglecting your basic training to carry this out. 3547No. I wouldn t neglect my training. 3548Tell me how far you ve got and I will see if I can help. 3549Another new face. 3550Welcome to the merchant district. 3551Are you looking for work, or trade? 3552So, I m back doing the dirty work, while you sit around? 3553You wanted to help. 3554Or are you all talk and no trousers? 3555I don t think you want me to walk away. 3556What do you mean? 3557Admit it, I m growing on you. 3558Yeah, it can t be that you re simply useful. 3559I m sticking to guard duty from now on... 3560That makes me feel safe. 3561Bastard. 3562Master Abrax said that the lizards closed the door. 3563Hardly surprising. 3564He never notices anything I do. 3565I could dance naked around Abrax waving flaming branches... 3566And I bet he still wouldn t notice me. 3567I don t know what else I can do to get his attention. 3568Sirius wants Master Abrax to give him another test, but needs something that will help Master Abrax with his research. Help him find this. 3571Can t you see? It s all around us. The panic, people dying, the creatures. Can t you see that? 3572They will rise from their graves to avenge themselves on the living! 3573The ruins that have risen from the ground. Who do you think made that happen?! 3574And they are but a herald! Soon they will show themselves, then we will all be doomed. 3575Something is happening...but I ve seen no evidence of spirits . 3576What could the Inquisitor be planning? 3577That is a good question and I think you should find me the answer. 3578Why me? 3579How am I supposed to discover what he s planning? 3580As my envoy. I want you to go and negotiate with him. 3581So, you don t think stealing is an outrage ? 3582Taking from the Order s not stealing. It s our duty. 3583I pay a few lads to liberate items from the warehouse. I m damned if I m letting the Inquisition get all the treasure. 3584But those lads have run up tabs to pay, they ve bedded too many wenches. They re getting greedy! 3585And I won t have that! 3586I m pursuing...chasing a group of lizard men. 3587Chasing? You want them alive? 3588They are better off dead. 3589With all the Saurians here, I could certainly use a hand from someone like you. 3590Then we fight together 3591Lead and I shall follow. 3592Thanks, but I m trying to sneak past and you d get noticed. 3593Why sneak when you can cut a path? 3594If you want to fight and need help, I am ready. 3595If I need you, I ll come back. 3596I retrieved the three golden bowls for Carasco. 3597That s good. They shall be processed and sent to the Monastery. 3598Well done. Here is your reward. 3599What sort of artefact are you selling? 3600Some kind of large, golden bowl. You need something gold and bowl shaped, this ll be perfect! And it s yours for just 150 gold. 3601I heard you lost Marcelo s staff. You ll be interested to know I found one. 3602Just found it, did you? It wasn t in my chest, was it? 3603It s a staff. And it s yours. That s what I m saying. 3604You rotworm! 3605You re asking me to pay for my staff? 3606What s a smith doing with wooden staffs? 3607Not much call for anything else. 3608Shame, really. Because blades are my speciality. 3609I remember every sword I ve ever touched. 3610Doesn t matter if I forged it, repaired it, or just sharpened it! 3611I ain t like that Oscar, down at the Don s camp. Messing around with jewellery. Good solid blade. That s what you need. 3612Did Romanov work alone? What happened to his crew? 3613With the storms out to sea they ll be laying low in the town. 3614Hiding from the Inquisition. 3615Huh, that look...You ve come for protection money... 3616Protection money? 3617Hmm, maybe you just have that look...what brings you here? 3618Bad idea or not, I have to take a test. 3619Yes, but you have to learn. Progressing up the Order isn t everything, testing and learning, the two aren t the same. 3620I can learn later. 3621Later? Later? You need to see the whole picture to know anything! 3622What use is knowledge without wisdom? Education without insight? 3623Whatever happened to people taking time to learn arcane skills? 3624You must prepare your mind. Ready yourself before you take a test! 3625I will learn... if you set me a test. 3626Humph. You don t have the right attitude. 3627A test is there to stretch ability. Shape knowledge...humph. 3628An eagerness to simply pass is not appropriate. 3629Warte hier (owner) 3630Okay 3631Right, sure, it was bound to be down to me. How about I look for this Crystal Disc? 3632That would help us both out. 3633I must be in a charitable mood. 3634Look, I m sorry, you think I like asking? 3635So, where are these gnomes? 3636The gnomes usually come from the east. 3637Severin had a Crystal Disc that was stolen by the gnomes to the east. 3638That all you got? My boys really have gone soft. 3639It seems Inquisitor Mendoza s plan worked... 3640But in seeking to save us, he might have killed us all. 3641What are you planning to do? 3642We must push these Saurians back, regain control of the Monastery. Only then can we plan our next step. 3643The Saurian Warriors must be defeated to free the Monastery. Report to Master Ignatius once the threat has been neutralised. 3644What about the survivors? 3645Find them, tell them to come here, we must gather our strength if we are to survive! 3646What should I tell them? 3647We must protect the Flame! Tell them to gather in the Hall of the Flame. 3648And if they are dead? 3649Then leave these creatures nothing. Strip the bodies, what is no use to them in death, may yet help us in life. 3650Find all the surviving Masters and send them to the Hall of the Flame. If any of the Masters are dead, recover the belongings from their corpses. 3651Delgado wants to extort protection money from the pawnbroker Costa. 3652And he needs you to do it for him. Am I right? 3653That s it. Apparently Costa s ripping off farmers and the Don s men want some of the spoils. 3654Yes, I ve had a bad feeling about Costa for a while. 3655Delgado is desperate for gold. Without it his own people will hang him out to dry. 3656Then this is the chance I ve been waiting for. 3657Will you help me to deal with Delgado? 3658Find the murderer, novice! 3659You can pack your stuff. 3660I have what I came for. 3661That s the first good news I ve heard since we got here. 3662I ll get right to work. 3663Someone should report the trouble here to Fincher. 3664That s your job. 3665No way! It d be like signing my own death warrant. 3666He ll send me right back to breaking rocks in the ruins. 3667So, I get the task do I? Great. 3668Report the events at the Eastern Temple for Maliko. 3669Where is the entrance? Tell me. 3670It s hidden in the library. 3671Search there and you ll find it. 3672The secret entrance to Master Abrax s alchemy cellar is well hidden somewhere in the library. 3673What do you know about this area? 3674This camp s run by the Order for the Inquisition. 3675What s the camp for? 3676All the troops out here use it. They bring artefacts here. 3677And guard these two ruins. One here below the farm, and another farther up. 3678I ve sorted out your crate delivery problem. 3679Really? Thanks. Good to see someone s applying themselves. 3680Tell you the truth, I ain t sure why the Don wants all this gold. Ain t like there s much to spend it on in a swamp! 3681Not that I ve seen. 3682Anyway, you ve put me in a generous mood. Here s a little advance on your share. 3683Looks like the Don couldn t have found a better guard. 3684Some people have tested Karakos. None have passed. 3685I can believe that. 3686The disloyal find death. The loyal I train to defend Don Esteban. 3687You train the men here? 3688Don Esteban needs strong arms and sharp axes. 3689Hello, farmer. 3690Hello... stranger. 3691What are you guarding? 3692The Swamp Farmer. Without him this place would be bleak. Bleak...er. 3693You don t like this place? 3694Does this look like paradise to you? 3695No taverns. No women. Just swamp, disease and mud. 3696Thank the gods for the Swamp Farmer. 3697At least he brings us our beer. 3698What s here that s worth stealing? 3699Not much, really. 3700The problem s more those bloody animals everywhere. 3701We could easily be overrun by wild boar. Or worse. 3702(Back) 3703How can I help you? 3704I want to fight you. Right now. 3705Well, that sounds serious. Meet me in the arena. 3706The arena is the only place we ll fight. Got that? 3707And if you leave the arena during the fight, you lose. 3708May the worthiest fighter win. 3709Is it true about Aric? They re saying... 3710Yes. He killed Hemlar. 3711Who s going to train us now? 3712That s something for the mages to worry about. 3713They ll know what to do. 3714Yeah, I reckon you re right. 3715What about you? You can train people. 3716Me? I m only a recruit. 3717But the Order still needs someone. 3718It s important that training continues. 3719The mages will never allow me to take over. 3720Maybe I can help there. 3721Helping William to become the new trainer would aid him and the Monastery. He would definitely be suitable for the job. 3722Stop! We are here. 3723What is this place? 3724It has great magical power. 3725Let us begin the process! 3726Are you in charge of the workers here? 3727Yeah. I m supposed to oversee the workers at the excavations. 3728But morale is so low, that the men don t care any more. 3729I have a Rune that I think can be used to destroy the magic barriers. 3730But you came to me because you have no idea what to do with it... 3731I can t help. But Master Illumar in the Monastery will be able to. 3732What are you selling? 3733Well, Master , robes shall serve you well, but clothes don t make the man. 3734You must study, learn, research. But, well done all the same. Take these potions. 3735Thanks. 3736Well, well, a Master . Need all the help we can get, glad you joined us at the Monastery. 3738You re downright scary, you know that? I just hope getting the Don back was worth turning the town upside down. 3739You re right. This is the tomb of a priest. 3740Ah. It sounds like you ve already been down there. 3741I have. And you were right about the dark magic. 3742But you survived unscathed. 3743Here, Take this. 3744It should prove very helpful with future challenges. 3745Thank you. 3746Return safely from the volcano. My best wishes go with you. 3747We follow the Inquisitor! 3748Hey du! I don t know much about holy things. 3767Just tell me what you know. 3768It s... the Flame protects us. All of us. Understand? It protects the whole island. 3769It s where the mages get their magic. 3770They say while it burns there is hope. 3771That the storms do not come to this island because of it. 3772Whatever it is, the Flame protects us. 3773If I m going to take action I ll need better armour. 3774I can give you worker s clothes. That all. 3775And you d have to pay. 3776After all, you re not a worker. Why should I clothe you? 3777We re all stuck on this island, in this swamp together. We might as well help each other. 3778I ll see if I can get your workers back to work. 3779You won t. If I can t, what chance does a stranger have? 3780I need a staff. 3781I ll check my stock. 3782Got this. Oak. Good strong wood. Knock someone s teeth through the back of their skull. 3783It ll serve as well as a blade, well most blades. If you train with it. 3784And you don t go hitting the wrong people. 3785Everything s fine here. 3786You think anything on this island isn t crazy? 3787I think you and I are the only thing that makes sense here. 3788Well, I m not sure if it s sense. 3789You and I? 3790You found anyone else on this island you can trust? And you came to this island on your own, so I m thinking you didn t find anyone before now... 3791I wasn t running from anything. That s not why I got on that boat. 3792I don t know what I was running to, but I wasn t running from anything. 3793See, seems we are alike. 3794What do I do about this Titan? If it gets free...anything could happen. But, if there s even a chance the Inquisitor could use it, to stop these storms... 3795Well, there s no one else on this island I d rather have make the decision. 3796Whatever you do, I know it will be the right thing. 3797So, you do business with the Don? 3798What makes you say that? 3799That s not important. What s important is that I know. 3800I process a few plants. No harm in that. 3801I don t want to cause you any trouble. 3802No, no...trouble isn t profitable. Take this, in case you had any trouble - and if you need more, I m sure we can make a deal. 3803The Inquisition won t like it. 3804I can t see them being interested, not really. 3805If this is because you need potions, maybe we can deal. 3806But don t try threatening me. 3807Harbour Town will soon be yours again. 3808Be careful. 3809Mendoza cannot be trusted. Remember, he has betrayed his own people in the past, left them to die... 3810Here. Take the disc. 3811Don t let it out of your sight. 3812Don Esteban has provided the last Crystal Disc, but wants Inquisitor Mendoza to give him Harbour Town in return. 3813I ve retrieved the five armour plates. (For the Order) 3814I ve retrieved the five armour plates. 3815Lukor was after them. But he was unlucky. 3816Good work. If only you had a little more faith and a little less profit in that brain of yours. 3817Maybe you re the person to convince Lukor to get out of town. I d do it myself... But that man sends my mind to a dark place. 3818If you re asking for a fight, you can have one. 3819Others have tried. 3820Greetings, comrade. 3821You here to show me your superior running away skills? 3822I paid Sonya for your services. 3823So, then...Your place or mine? 3824Sleep until the next evening. 3825Rufo! Seek! (Hold out sleeve) 3826What s that stench? (Pickpocket) 3827What s that stench? 3828What? I don t smell anything. I have only top-quality goods. What, are you trying to drive my customers away?! 3829Must ve been something from down the street. 3830You want to steal from the White Robes? 3831Steal? They came storming into Harbour Town, taking anything they want! 3832The house and everything in it belong to Don Esteban. 3833I m just going to return what already belongs to him. 3834Don t fool around. We re both in trouble if you re caught! 3835What can you teach me? 3836(Back) 3837Strength +5 3838Strength +1 3839Smithing 2 3840I want to forge a bastard sword. 3841You should already know how to forge, but to make larger weapons, you have to change your technique. 3842A large blade cools faster - so you have to work faster. And more precisely. 3843Grab the hammer higher up. 3844The precision that gives you will also help you with goldsmithing. You can create finer pieces of jewellery that way. 3845Smithing 1 3846I want to learn blacksmithing. 3847I ll show you how to forge a one-handed sword. 3848First, you need a blank. 3849You have to heat the blank in the forge. 3850When it glows and the metal is hot enough, you can beat it into shape on the anvil. 3851You quench the blade to temper it. 3852Then you sharpen it on the whetstone. 3853That s great, Is there anything else you can teach me? 3854You can also create simple magical jewellery. 3855For that, you need a goldsmith s table. 3856Magical pieces get their power from the stone you include in them. 3857The art is in enclosing the precious stone in gold - to make a ring or amulet. 3858Smithing 3 3859I want to forge a two-handed sword. 3860As my old teacher Max used to say, you have to make the hammer dance on the glowing blade. 3861Fast, precise strokes. When you hear that special song of the unfinished blade, you re doing it right. 3862That is how you bring out the very best properties of the metal and create a true masterpiece. Old Max knew a thing or two. 3863There is a spell which may be able to separate the bond between my spirit and body. 3864It is a magic of the most powerful kind. 3865What did you do? Come on, out with it! 3866Out with what? 3867My Ciddy s left town and I m sure it s your fault! 3868Ciddy makes his own decisions. 3869Just get out of my sight, you bastard! 3870My Ciddy is dead because of you. 3871No, Ciddy is dead because he was an idiot! 3872Just get out of my sight, murderer! 3873I challenge you again, fight me in the arena. 3874You make it so hard to refuse. Let s go. 3875I would like to learn the magic of the Frost Crystal. 3876You wish to study... 3877My role is to administrate within this community. This is paramount. 3878If you wish for help from the community, you should first help the community yourself. 3879And what form would that help take? 3880A donation of a thousand gold coins to the Monastery. Then I will instruct you. 3881That s an expensive demand. 3882Everything has its price. If you wish to barter...there are a few things I require. Bring them to me and I shall reduce the cost in gold. 3883Donate 1000 gold coins to the Monastery to get instruction from Master Pallas. The price can be reduced by obtaining items Master Pallas needs. 3884How do I join the Don s men? 3885Well, your timing isn t good. We re not in a trusting mood at the moment. 3886Not since that business in Harbour Town. 3887I m not saying you re a spy. We just have to be careful. 3888The Don s a powerful man, well he was. Since we ve been in this swamp he s hidden in that temple, hasn t been out for weeks. 3889His wife Rachel has been trying to run the camp. 3890She s the one you need to impress if you want to meet the Don. 3891Rachel. Right... 3892So the excavations have stopped? 3893They won t be happy when they find out. The Don s supposed to be a fair man. 3894But Brogar isn t and he should be protecting us. 3895If any of my men were good at fighting they d ve have gone long ago. 3896They d be living it up in the bars and brothels of Harbour Town. 3897Yes, I ll take it. 3898Take good care of it. Maps are works of art. 3899Usually, the initiation of a Master lasts many hours. 3900There are exhaustive tests, demonstrations of magic, queries of your knowledge... 3901Then I m glad that this went so quickly. 3902There is also normally a great banquet with turkey, cake, and wine. 3903I don t think this is the time for a banquet. 3904Thus speaks a true Master. 3905You re not all there, are you? 3909So, how s business? 3910Business has picked up a treat since the Don came back+G13640! The Inquisition usually only found their way down here when they were looking to rough someone up. 3911At least the Don s boys know how to have a little fun! 3912What are you doing standing round here? 3917You re a hunter? 3918I am. Well, I was. 3919What happened? 3920Since the Temples rose no one s allowed outside the town because of the creatures. 3921I was lucky the Inquisiton didn t take me to the Monastery. 3922And what happened to your bow? 3923I pawned it to Costa, fed me for a week. And to think I could provide for the whole town with it once. 3924Now, not even Flavio has work for me. All I have left is Master Belschwur s stew. 3925I m holding my position, as ordered. 3926I was getting worried about you. 3927Did you find what you were looking for? 3928Can you teach me how to be a smith? 3929Long as you don t steal my customers! 3930Go on then. Pin your ears back and listen up. 3931I have some questions. 3932Questions are food for the mind... 3933Can you tell me about the power of Crystals? 3934Crystal magic is the oldest known form of magic. 3935It is highly developed. 3936With time, you will learn to use a Crystal s structure to focus the power of your magic. 3937What can you tell me about Runes? 3938Runes...Runes are a versatile form of sorcery. 3939The knowledge of how to create Runes has been lost, but we can still use them... 3940...if we open up our spirit. 3941(Back) 3942What can you teach me about scrolls? 3943Scrolls are a way of binding magic. Anyone can use them, but once they have been incanted the scroll loses its properties and reverts to mere paper. 3944If you wish to know more, talk to Master Illumar. 3945Well, you re not a member of the Inquisition and you don t look like a fighter. 3946I m not, I m a treasure seeker. 3947Ruins searched, tombs emptied, valuables recovered . Pockets...lined. 3948When I m not being held prisoner, that is. 3949You scared, little fish? 3950So, your boys gave me your lesson. 3951Pretty good teachers, my lads. Very articulate fists. 3952Just do what I tell you and I won t have to re-educate you again. 3953Ha...Okay, so you ain t bad. Give you a few years you might be as good as me! Maybe. 3954Domingo...You just don t get the calibre of raw killer, you used to! They ve all gone soft in this swamp! 3955I ve had worse. 3956Your boys aren t so tough. 3957If Domingo s your best man you need to improve your training. 3958Seems like your fighters need a few lessons too 3959We have opened the gate into the mountain. 3960And? Have you discovered what the Inquisitor sought? 3961Not yet, that will take time. 3962What of Harbour Town? 3963Will the Inquisitor finally surrender it? 3964He is still inside the mountain. He s focused on that, not the town. 3965Then you go to the town. Talk to Commandant Carlos. 3966Explain that he must step aside. 3967My patience with him is almost at an end, the Inquisitor s interest in the town is over. Tell him that. 3968Don Esteban wants a message taken to Harbour Town Commandant Carlos is to give up his post. 3969Now then, about a reward? 3970I thought that might be on your mind. Very well, you have a choice. 3971( Jest scroll) 3972I d like that scroll. 3973Good, but no funny business with it! 3974(5 medium healing potions) 3975I ll take the healing potions. 3976Always useful. 3977(200 gold pieces) 3978I d like the gold. 3979Very well. 3980(5 medium mana potions) 3981I ll go for the mana potions. 3982All yours. 3983Ha, look, another recruit, right? Me too, Tucker, Recruit of the Inquisition . What a joke! 3984The same people who chained me up now expect me to fight for them! 3985You don t think we should fight? 3986Against who? For what? If they re pulling us in for service then the shit has really hit the fan. 3987It s not like we ve been given a choice. 3988No. All we can do is prepare ourselves. 3989One hour of training could mean the difference between life and death. 3990What do you think is going on? 3991I don t think even the Inquisitor knows that. But one thing is certain - we recruits - we ll be the first to get thrown into the fight. 3992Here s your gold. 3993All right. I bet Lukor still pockets enough for himself. 3994Here are the plates. 3995Being a hunter wasn t your thing, huh? Ah, no matter, it s not for everyone. 3996Give me Delgado s gold! 3997Well, I m not going to give you the gold, but I will give you something else. 4002It s not for me . Marek, one of the guards, would like get to know you better. 4003Little bit shy is he? 4004You could say that. 4005Ah, I know the type. Where is the timid fellow? 4006He s standing guard by the cells on the harbour quay. 4007Oh, that guy? Beard? Eyebrows like the fattest caterpillars I ve ever seen? Huh...well, I suppose gold is gold. 4008Your goods are much too expensive! (Pickpocket) 4009Your goods are much too expensive! 4010I know, but what can I do? Acquiring the goods is also very expensive. If I don t pass that on in my prices, I ll soon be ruined! My suppliers, they make their money...so why can t I? 4011Come on then, tell me how to fleece the merchants. 4012Right... 4013There are two worthwhile targets. 4014There s Konrad, the goods merchant. 4015He buys from the farmers and sells at a big profit. 4016And there s Alvaro, the weapons dealer. 4017Since the only smith in the town works for him, he dictates the price of weapons. 4018(About Konrad and Alvaro) 4019How do I collect from the two merchants? 4020First, get an overview. 4021Talk to them. Perhaps even buy something. 4022You have to find out what is keeping them busy. 4023What problems they have - and what weaknesses. 4024If we know their weaknesses, we can use that against them! 4025Talk to Alvaro and find out about his weaknesses then use them against him. 4026What does your boss want from me? 4027Help. That s all. 4028You can find something that a certain person needs. 4029And give them information they need to make a decision. 4030Right. I ll get you the amulet. 4031Okay...But be smart. Esteban will kill us both if Hernandez gets his hands on it. 4032Toni wants the golden amulet from the Don s house. 4033How are you going to get by the White Robes? 4034I ll think of something. 4035All right. I ll wait here. 4036What have you done? You have killed an honourable Warrior of the Order. 4037I will seek justice! 4038I have a new job for you. 4039You do? 4040The artefact crates at the Temple over in the South East, they need moving. 4041And there might be something in the crates that stops the spirits...? You can count on me! 4042I have advanced my training. 4043Good. Training is vital. Train and then I will help you. 4044I have here a list. 4045This list names all those who has permission to leave the Monastery recently. 4046That will be a great help. 4047Good. Then continue your investigation. 4048Master Pallas has supplied a list with the names of everyone who can leave the Monastery. 4049About the unmarked graves... 4050(Back) 4051You were right. The graves did contain some clues. 4052Good. Tell me. 4053This clue contains the name Fergold 4054Judging from his notes, Steelbeard buried him along with a chest. 4055That s father! Why waste the effort digging a hole to bury treasure, when you can sling a body in there too? 4056Hmm... Fergold, eh. Thanks. 4057I ve got a clue, the name Tarras . 4058And here Steelbeard mentions a master key. 4059Of course. 4060That s the key I gave you. 4061That key puts us ahead of Romanov. 4062That and our combined skills. 4063This clue mentions 6 graves... 4064... five mutineers, the treasure, and a name Bulba. 4065Bulba? He s a piece of work. 4066My father s a bastard, but Bulba s...Bulba s real scum. 4067Never understood why my father got mixed up with him. 4068We re on the right track. But this clue is only part of the puzzle. 4069The name Korgan is mentioned in this clue. 4070Apparently, he and Steelbeard worked together. 4071Korgan . I think I ve heard the name. 4072My father sailed with a lot of men. 4073Here. This clue mentions Barnabas ... 4074And it mentions a trap. 4075Sometimes my father can be a little on the predictable side. 4076Don t forget the name, we ll need it. 4077How about we sort out our differences in the arena? 4078A show fight? 4079Why not? It ll get me out of this place for awhile. 4080Closing the door was the right thing to do. 4081Tell that to Master Abrax. Would you? Please? 4082I don t think he ll ever give me another chance to take my test. 4083I d have to find some way to help him with his work before he d even lift an eyebrow. 4084Sirius wants Master Abrax to give him another test, but needs something that will help Master Abrax with his research. Help him find this. 4085Look to the north. You see the ruins sticking out of the ground? 4086Yeah. I ve seen ones like that before. 4087Well, the White Robes set up a camp there. 4088If you re smart, you won t be seen up there. 4089Otherwise, you ll be snatched up and taken to the Monastery. 4090Do you want to be a slave, or a free man? 4091You re really hammering this home, aren t you? 4092Ah, sorry, sorry! You re right. You re your own man. Free to do what you like. 4093Come on. It isn t much further. 4094Who s Hawkins? 4095He s an idiot, a fool! Sending people there with no protection. 4096While he hides safe back in the camp in the North. 4097He won t be safe forever, we have no protection, no way of stopping them... 4098If you re right, it sounds like we all need protection. 4099What do you want doing with these lads ? How should I handle it? 4100Anyway you like! They ve crossed me for the last time. 4101Do what you have to do, just get me those armour plates back! 4102And don t let them fall into Carasco s hands. 4103Can you tell me where these promising areas are? 4104There s a cave to the east of the island. 4105Rumour has it there s a temple entrance there that s still sealed. 4106Someone should take a closer look at it. 4107Okay, I ll take it. 4108Here you go. Pleasure doing business with you. 4109Careful who you show it to. The Inquisition and the Don s boys would love to get this. 4110But I didn t trust em not to bash me over the head as soon as they got their paws on it. 4111See it as a reward for me finding it. (100 gold) 4112See it as a reward for me finding it. 4113You re a piece of work, you are. Pretend to care about Walter, you re just interested in yourself. 4114It s just a bit of gold. Add it to your next deal. 4115And to think I thought you were all right for an outsider. 4116I am. Or I d have asked for a lot more. 4117Just sling your hook. 4118Oh and I ll need a little more for expenses. (50 gold) 4119Oh and I ll need a little more for expenses. 4120And that s the end of it? 4121I ll also need a bonus to stop this happening again. 4122I ll also need a bonus to stop this happening again. 4123What? I m paying you to stop you stealing from me? 4124Think of it as insurance. 4125I don t know what to think now. 4126And I ll need a small amount to stop word of this getting around. (50 gold) 4127And I ll need a small amount to stop word of this getting around. 4128I don t care if word gets around! In fact I want it to! 4129People should know you robbed me! 4130Get out of my house! 4131So, you re watching over me? 4132I feel a lot safer now. 4133Just find the next clue. 4134Can I talk to Romanov? 4135You can. But he won t hear because he s in the cell and you re staying out here. 4136And the key to his cell is staying in my pocket. Got that? 4137Getting into Romanov s cell is the only way to talk to him. Get Marek s key to the cell. 4138So, what do you want to let me in? 4139All the other town guards are having a great time in the tavern or at Sonya s. 4140The island s falling apart while they party, but I m not allowed to leave my post. 4141I ve been here for days. Wet, cold, knackered. Romanov may be important but he s not going anywhere. 4142The only person to give me the time of day is you. And you re not exactly a sight for sore eyes. 4143But, I mean if one of Sonya s girls came up here...well, the two of us could make a bit of a party. 4144I ll compensate you if you allow me to have a little chat . 4145No, lad. It doesn t work like that. 4146Keep your gold. 4147Look. Give me the cell key or I ll take it from you. 4148Oh, yeah? You and whose army? 4149You re on dangerous ground here, mate. 4150Just give me the key. 4151Right. You ve crossed the line. Draw your weapon. 4152Ende (owner) 4153You re in luck. I found your Crystal Disc. 4154That s perfect. The gnomes had it? 4155I took it from the gnome leader. 4156Gnomes don t have a leader. 4157These ones did. 4158And he had the disc. 4159You were right. The gnomes really did have a leader. 4160You mean, the Gyrger really exists? 4161Not any more. He s dead. And I found your stolen disc on him. 4162I m going to have to pay more attention to campfire tales in future! 4163You and me both. 4164Thanks. I hope this disc helps the Inquisitor get what he needs. 4165Take this as thanks. 4166And may the Holy Flame watch over us both. 4167Not bad. I m impressed. Stay in my good books and I can make something of a scrapper like you. 4168I think I can make something of myself. 4169You get too cocky with people, it ll be a grave you re making for yourself. 4170There are lizardmen in there? Have you seen any out here? 4171What? A lizardman? What are you talking about? 4172There s at least one down there. He was wearing the robes of a priest. 4173Do you think there are anymore? 4174You think they re going to come out here? 4175Yes, on both counts. 4176And I m here, in the front line! 4177You should see those White Robes in the Monastery. If anyone knows more about these things it would be them, I reckon. 4178There s really a hidden cellar? 4179Yes. Abrax is a great one for keeping out of the way. 4180But you ll have to pass his test, to be accepted. 4181Many novices had trouble finding Abrax. He s not exactly...sociable. 4182Are the ruins dangerous? 4183We ve got creatures piling out of the ruins and spreading out everywhere. 4184What s in these artefact crates? 4185Puppies! Artefacts! What d you think, genius? 4186Everything that s dug up from the ruins gets crated up. 4187But keep your mitts off em. 4188If you re looking for gold then do some work. 4189You dig for the Don then you ll get your share. 4190I ll think about it. 4191What is it you re doing here? 4192I m one of the lucky ones. The merchant Konrad pays me to watch his cows. 4193The others haven t been so lucky... But such is the law of the Inquisitor. 4194In the town, you ll be safe, they said. Safe, maybe. Safe and starving! 4195I found the three golden bowls you wanted. Carasco has them. 4196Well, that is regrettable, but... we ll survive. 4197Stick to Garth, or he ll be gone and you ll have to search for him! 4198Hey. You tangle with Brogar and you tangle with me. 4199You did it. 4200The town is finally back in my hands. 4201My town, our town. 4202I am making you my captain. A Captain amongst my men. 4203Now our paths diverge once more. You must continue with your work inside the volcano. We must know its secrets. 4204I will go to the town let the people know that they are free once more. 4205We are all counting on you, Captain. 4206What do you want? 4207You ve got what you wanted. Now leave me alone. 4208Trying to impress me with your new status, are you? Go and waggle your sword at some swamp worms, that ll impress me more. 4227Zuruck 4228I d like to hire the services of one of your girls, for the cell guard on the harbour quay. 4229Harbour quay, you say? Hmm... Take Anika. She normally works that area. 4230Though she may not want to go with your cell guard friend. And that s her choice. 4231Anika. Got it... At the harbour quay. Thanks. 4232Can you tell me how to get to the Monastery? (Pickpocket) 4233Can you tell me how to get to the Monastery? 4234You see the path back there that leads along the cliff? Just keep following that path and bear slightly to the right. The path will lead up the mountain to the Monastery. 4235Thanks. 4236Do you have any work going? 4237I already pay enough workers. More would bleed me dry. 4238Right. I ll be on my way then. 4239And only come back if you want to buy something. 4240With a business like this, maybe you need someone to protect you? 4241What? Are you threatening me? 4242Are you one of the Don s puppets? 4243Let me tell you something. 4244I make money. I don t give it away. 4245Can you spare me a little gold? 4246Get out! And stay out! 4247Where is this amulet? 4248But how is anyone supposed to find the room in that huge house while the White Robes are buzzing around? 4249All clear. The Warrior s gone. 4250It was a good job I saw you first, or you d be on your way to the Monastery. 4251I d say you got lucky there. 4252Doyle s prepared to give evidence to the Inquisition. 4253Really? It s good to know in times like these people can still surprise you. 4254I didn t give him a choice. 4255You need to confront Cid with what you know. We can bring this to an end. 4256Dialog Gesten Part 1 4257DU wirst mir helfen! 4258Nein, DU wirst mir helfen! 4259ICH bin der Prinz von Thule! 4260Na und? Ich habe einen grosen Fisch gefangen! 4261Nur wer fleisig lernt, wird Weisheit erlangen! 4262Und wenn du nicht aufpasst, wirst du untergehen! 4263Ich bin verdammt sauer! 4264Pass lieber auch was du sagst! 4265Zuruck 4266Wir gehen jetzt auf die Suche! 4267Bring du mir lieber einen Sack Gold! 4268Pass auf, ich erklare dir das! 4269Nein warte- das war doch alles ganz anders! 4270Sind wir alleine? 4271Soll ich dir ein Geheimnis verraten? 4272About your pile of gold... 4273You will be paid your due. 4274Or was there more to that question than greed? 4275Not every man feels they get their share. (Tell the Don about Brogar) 4276Not every man feels they get their share. 4277Brogar is betraying you and lining his own pockets. 4278He is using his fighters to extort protection money from the others under your command. 4279Brogar has always had his schemes... 4280And in this time, when your men grow restless and afraid, you want them paying money to him? 4281And blaming you for their misery? 4282If what you say is true... 4283...I will stretch Brogar s neck. You are right, it is time an example was set... 4284It s nothing, it was just a question. (Keep Brogar s secret). 4285Nothing, it was just a question... 4286So...even you have secrets to keep. 4287How about destroying the whole island? 4288He wants to...why would he do that? 4289He is prepared to sacrifice the island, he thinks it will save the mainland. 4290But what is it you found? And how can it endanger us? 4291Hey, you there. 4292Touch anything and I ll set Rufo on you. He needs a good meal. 4293Rufo, is that your husband? 4294My wolf. Look, this place is ours. There s nothing here you want, or can take. 4295Would you like a smoke? 4296Brugle? You taken over from Hemlar have you? 4297Okay, I ll take one. How much? 4298Taylor bought Brugleweed. 4299Just fifty gold coins. 4300Good to see Brugle selling for a reasonable price. Brugle is my only vice and Hemlar, that swindler, made me pay through the nose for it. 4301For you - one hundred gold coins. 4302You re worse than Hemlar! 4303Alright! Alright! I ll pay. This once. But you won t be having my custom again. 4304Go, I shall protect the Holy Flame until you return with the others! 4305I heard Master Abrax lost some of his notes, maybe you should try and find them. 4306Where would I start? 4307I happen to have his notes, right here. 4308You re kidding me? If I took them to Abrax then I m sure he d let me take the test again! 4309Wait, what do you want for them? 4310200 gold should do it. 4311Gladly. Those notes could spell my ticket out of novice-hood! 4312Here you go. 4313I think it s best if I take them to Master Abrax myself. 4314Oh...well why did you tell me about them? 4315I m sure he notices you just fine. 4316Take them, they re yours. 4317You are a saint amongst men! They re my ticket out of novice-hood. 4318Just take them to Abrax, take the test again, pass it and stop moaning ! 4319What whispering? What are you talking about? 4320It s those temples...rising from the ground, the voices came from them! 4321Who is it whispering? 4322The ancients . All the things they find? The temples? They re from the ancients! 4323And those idiots want me to dig them up? To desecrate their graves! 4324The ancients have been disturbed...what do you think is causing these storms!? And who knows how to fight them? Who knows what can stop them?! 4325A-ha. 4326Which lads are causing trouble? 4327There s Duram. He s a worker from the harbour. 4328Who else? 4329Ingvar and Vasili. Neither of them has a proper job, so they re just work for hire. 4330Most of the time, they can be found in Patty s tavern. Fine woman she is. 4331You need treasure seekers? I ll help you find some. 4332Good luck...the White Robes will ve recruited most of them by now, but if you can find some good ones, it ll be worth your while. 4333You ll need some it ll be difficult to empty a temple as big as that without help... 4334Hire some treasure seekers from the Harbour Town for Fincher so the can loot the eastern temple. 4335I ve heard you re holding a treasure seeker prisoner? 4336That s right. And he s staying here. 4337Unless the bastard talks of course. 4338I d like to learn about staff fighting. 4339Staff 2 4340Strength +5 4341Strength +1 4342(Back) 4343Staff 4 4344I can only train you further if you belong to the Order. 4345Staff 7 4346Staff 6 4347Staff 1 4348Show me how to fight with a staff. 4349All right, let us begin with your stance. 4350Prepare by holding your staff to the side of your body, so you can draw it quickly in front of you to defend yourself. 4351Why fight with a staff? Does it have any advantages? 4352To my mind the biggest advantage of a staff is its range. 4353Keep your opponent at range and you can pick them off without them landing a blow on you. 4354Staff 3 4355Staff 5 4356How did you know I d be coming here? 4357Romanov knows where everyone on this island is, can t hide anything from him. 4358Hau ab! (Owner) 4359You ready to face me again? 4360Don t learn do ya? Well, let s beat some sense into you! 4361I ve gathered the pieces of the golden sword. 4362You must have a gift, persuading people to give them to you. 4363You should take them to Oscar. 4364Of course if he agrees to reforge the sword, you then have to persuade him to give you the sword back... 4365Where can I get a map? 4366A Saurian hunting party went by here not so long ago. I bet they ve got one. 4367Where did they go? 4368If they are a hunting party they ll have gone outside. Go down to the swamp and ask Jorgensen. 4369He s probably seen them... 4370But he s a little touched . Doesn t know what he s saying half the time. 4371Brent thinks the lizards hunting group must have a map.\nJorgensen down in the swamp probably knows where the hunting group has gone to. 4372Why would Delgado leave? 4373The Inquisitor knows what he s up to, that should be enough to make Delgado run. The Don s men always run. 4374Besides, he also needs to explain to the Don where his takings have gone. 4375Poor Delgado will be squeezed from both sides. 4376I have found lodgings for Martha, the farmer s wife. 4377You are a good man. 4378If only all the people in this town were as considerate. 4379Here, I have something for you. May the Holy Flame light your way. 4380Have you tried looking for a way out? 4381Well, I tried, but.. 4382When I got close to that collapsed passage over there, I heard some very strange noises. 4383Whatever s down there, there s more than one, I was hoping someone would come and help me out. 4384I have to find a list of ingredients for Master Illumar s test, can you help me? 4385Ingredients? Is the old man experimenting with potions once more? I do hope not... 4386He was never happy that he lacked my skill. 4387Illumar should stick to scrolls. He s a master of those. Heh. 4388What can you teach me? 4389Prospecting 4390Before you can go prospecting you have to know where to look for ore, makes sense, hey? 4391Some people run out and just start breaking rocks, which is just wasting your time and energy. 4392So, how do I know where the ore is? 4393Look for it in the stone, if it s worth prospecting you ll see seams in it, see the deposit glittering at you. 4394Sometimes, the ore s in deposits like bubbles. They just hang from the rock. 4395If you take your pick and swing it straight with two hands...it s yours. 4396But you ve got to hit it straight on. Otherwise the rock will split and you ll have blown your chance. 4397You ll need some practice, but do what I say and you ll be pulling up ore in no time. 4398(Back) 4399Can you tell me more about the ruins here? 4400I can t, really. I just stand guard here. 4401If you want to know more, talk to Severin. 4402Or rather, don t talk to him. You re not part of the Order, you re not authorised... 4403Unless you want to join the Order stay away from any White Robes! 4404I see you re one of them Inquisition fellows. Think you ll save us all, do you? 4405What are you doing here? Are you standing guard? 4406Yes. But I shouldn t be. 4407I ve been here so long this godforsaken mud s soaked through to my feet. 4408You re pretty talky for someone who sells fish. 4409I figure the longer I keep someone talking, the more chance they have of buying some fish... 4410I never should have bought this lousy fishmonger s. 4411I was with this wench, she said she liked fish... And then before you know it, I ve bought this thing! 4412I mean I don t know my herring from my halibut. And with the storms, there aren t even many fish being caught.. 4413Do you need to cast this spell? 4414The Gods provided three servants to assist me. 4415Zul Utur, the priest; Zel Zerat, the animal; and Zal Zaran, the guardian. 4416Each of them carried a soul splinter which supplied them with power. 4417This power may be sufficient to free my spirit for good. 4418Why do you think Cid was behind the robberies? 4419He considers himself a local leader, of sorts. Likes to stir things up. 4420But what makes you so sure it was him? 4421Well, you just have to look at that girlfriend of his and the wealth she flaunts to know it s not coming from an honest source. 4422You think it ll be one-sided. Let s find out... 4423You were lucky. No, that s not true. You fought well. 4424Take your winnings, but remember...there s more to life than money, haaa! I can t believe I said that. 4425You bastard. That gear is mine! 4426I ll consider that your winnings you bastard... 4427There, It is done. 4428So, the disc is healed? 4429That is what we were here to do!! What else would I mean by done?! 4430Thank you. Then I will take the disc to the Inquisitor. 4431Do that, but if you need a leveller head than the Inquisitor, Inquisitor, Inquisitor, how can a man with such a closed mind be called inquisitive? It is a crime against language! 4432Keep a level head, speak to me before you make a decision with him. I promise you an open mind and a brilliant insight! 4433Good luck! 4434What do you need? 4435Firstly and most importantly, the cold heart of a Bogbody. 4436I also require a small sapphire. 4437Master Pallas needs a small sapphire and the cold heart of a Bogbody. 4438I can talk to Brogar for you. 4439Don t! It ll only cause trouble. 4440We ve tried everything. Brogar s not going to listen to you. 4441Hawkins doesn t know how he can get the workers to retrieve the artefacts and take them to Beppo, because Brogar won t send out the fighters to protect the workers, and because gold fever is poisoning the workers minds. 4442Master, I need scrolls. 4443Welcome to our ranks, brother. 4444As a Master, it is your task to actively support the Monastery. 4445Since I have no Runes to just give away. 4446You can start paying for any others you would like with this. 4447You beat him fair enough. And to the victor, the spoils. Your winnings. 4449I heard Hemlar used to come to the Cemetery regularly. 4450What do you know about that? 4451He was here. But so were a lot of people. 4452Maybe with the Order gone my boys will come back to town. Well, I can hope. 4453The Don s come to save us? Come to exploit us, more like! 4454What is this place? 4460Oh! Vielen Dank! 4461I could help you. 4462Huh. How? 4463Let me join you. I ll work for you. 4464Why? Why should I even trust you? This town s full of spies and collaborators. 4465Because you ll find and gut me if I fail. 4466Hmm. You know what you d be getting into? 4467Don Esteban hates people who try to cheat him. And so do I. 4468I ve already worked for Delgado. 4469Collecting protection money. 4470Protection money? 4471So, you already have some experience... 4472Here, I brought you your bow. 4473You got it back for me? Why did you do that? 4474A hunter needs a bow. Take it. 4475Thank you. But there is nothing I can...I have nothing. 4476It s all right. 4477This is your room. 4478I ll...er...I ll be going. 4479I ve just remembered something I need to be doing. Somewhere... else! Good luck! 4480Right. I d better, get back to my duties... 4481I have to go and deal with the dung heap now. 4482Do you think the whole mountain is crawling with these Saurian things? 4483Get back to that volcano. You ve got a decision to make. 4484Can you instruct me in magic? 4485(Back) 4486Your power has grown stronger. 4487Mana +5 4488The world is full of energy. You are part of it. 4489Mana +1 4490Open your spirit and feel the magic. 4491It is everywhere. In the rocks, the plants, and in the trees. You are part of it. Use that connection, let the magic flow through your mind. 4492Can you teach me the Projectile spell? 4493First you will require a Projectile Crystal. 4494Find the Projectile Crystal and take it to Master Vitus. 4495Now will you set my test? I m keen to learn more of the Order. 4496Hmm. First we need to consider what you might be good at, eh? 4497Whatever you set I will do. 4498Well, you have self-belief... 4499Let s see if you have the skill, or maybe just the luck to pass. 4500I have passed Vitus s test. 4501Oh, yes? Good old Vitus. Well done. 4502Is he still so uninterested in research? 4503I don t know. 4504I suspect he is. He was always more interested in the real world rather than the mind. 4505So, passing Vitus s test isn t likely to impress me. 4506(Back) 4507Werde zum Partymember! 4508Okay! 4509Here it is...the golden sword. 4510Wow. You did it. You got all the pieces and you got the sword... 4511With that, I can t see how you can fail to get to the Don. 4512If I were you, I d take that straight to Rachel. 4513Who s Jorgensen? 4514Someone you probably shouldn t listen to. It s all the mushrooms he eats, see. 4515I don t trust fungus. Eat the wrong one and your insides are outsides... 4516Or you re off dancing with the pixies . 4517He can t last much longer on that diet. 4518Hey, you there, 4519You don t look like a farmer to me. 4520So what? 4521So I m wondering who you are. 4522And hoping for your sake you re not involved with Delgado or the other outlaws. 4523Good news. I ve arranged for your wife to stay at Costa s. 4524Really? Thank you. Thank you! 4525No one has ever done anything for us before! 4526You are a good man and should be rewarded. 4527We don t have much, but we have to give you something. 4528Don t worry, I ll find an exit. 4529Well, if you don t, you ll be starving to death with me. 4530Good point. 4531Find an exit from the cave. Escape with Dirk. 4532Can you ...help me get the ingredients for his scrolls. 4533Can I deal with a test set by Master Illumar? 4534You were right to come to me. Scrolls and potions have some things in common. 4535Both contain power which anyone can tap. 4536All that is needed for either a scroll or a potion is the correct formula, the ingredients and a little knowledge. 4537Do you trade here on the farm? 4538Trade? With who? Other than Esteban s bandits, there s nobody out here. 4539What about me? Will you trade with me? 4540I don t have much to offer, but you are welcome to look. 4541Hey, I don t want any trouble and I ain t got anything worth stealing! 4542You belong to Captain Romanov s crew. 4543Snooping like a spy, now asking questions? Whoever you are, I m gonna kick your skull straight out of your stupid head. 4544Clay is taking over your post. 4545About time. 4546Thanks. Here s something for you. Always pay your debts. 4547Now I need a rest. 4548And once I have freed you, you will aid me in the battle against the Titans? 4549I will give you what you need to open the Golden Gate. 4550After you have done what I ask. 4551I spoke to Rodriguez. He thinks you re behind the break-ins. 4552He s trying to frame me. He hates me. Always has, for some reason. 4553Listen. You re one of us, aren t you? I need your help. 4554Go on. 4555You can make this right. You can find out the truth. Make sure it s you who investigates the break-ins. 4556Let s hope Rodriguez lets you do that. 4557Which of the fighters here are the best? 4558Based on recent form, Ricardo s a loser. 4559Lorenzo isn t too sharp either. Used to be all right, faded a bit these days. 4560I d say Domingo is probably the best in camp. 4561Who will train the recruits now? 4562You have a suggestion? 4563William. He can handle a staff, and he believes in the cause. 4564He is only a recruit. We can hardly allow a recruit to work as a trainer. 4565Then promote him. Make him a Warrior of the Order. 4566Hmmm...he has earned your trust... very well, he shall take over responsibility for training. Then we shall see. 4567Have you got any more of those scrolls? 4568You need to aim at the door when you cast. 4569Here are two more. Don t waste them. 4570I am ready to study Crystal Magic. 4571Have you chosen the type of Crystal you wish to study? 4572I am an adept of the Fire Crystal and can teach you its secrets. 4573So, there are other Crystals? 4574If you wish to learn about the Projectile Crystal, speak to Master Vitus. 4575Master Pallas can teach you the secrets of the Frost Crystal. 4576Master Pallas? 4577It has been a long time since he instructed a student, but there are few who know more about Crystals than he. 4578We lost Harbour Town. I don t feel like talking to anyone right now. Least of all you. Shove off! 4579What can you tell me about Brogar? 4580Nothing...I m not telling you anything. I don t want trouble. 4581Do you have things to sell? 4582The Inquisitor, I wish you luck, sir. I hope you can help us hold this island together! 4583Domingo ll ve learned to respect you! Your win took him by surprise. And me. Here. Your winnings. 4584I don t like paying out, but you did what you bet you d do. 4585よし、行こうか。 4591Someone else survived the shipwreck. Travel with them to discover more about where you have been washed ashore. 4592Who did Hemlar meet with in there? 4593No idea. 4594You re a terrible gatekeeper, you know that? 4595I stand here day and night, until my legs drop off. Now I get abuse! 4596It doesn t matter if it s pouring rain or I m freezing my balls off. 4597I stand here and do my job. 4598You must have seen something. 4599It was dark. What could I have seen? 4600If you did your job you d know who went in. 4601No one. 4602If I let people in, I d be back turning over the dung heap. 4603So, get it clear...I...didn t...let...anyone...in. 4604(Back) 4605It was dark? So, someone did come and they came at night... 4606What else? 4607Nothing, Hemlar came here at night...that s all. 4608You re not losing me my job! 4609Schalte die Lehrer frei! 4610Done 4611Maybe I can do something to help. How many excavation sites are there? 4612Three. One east of the temple and two right in the middle of the swamp. 4613Look for the artefact crates. They mean you re in the right place. 4614Right. 4615Kill every lizard there is! 4616We still have to be careful. There are bound to be more of the enemy around. 4617These Saurians are tough. 4618Their armour s made of obsidian. 4619Ooooh, aren t you the expert? 4620I m afraid those three golden bowls are on the way to Don Esteban. 4621Nothing s sacred to that lot. 4622Brogar says you need teaching a lesson. 4623Don Esteban wants you to surrender your post. 4624I imagine he does. 4625But I have a duty. I will not leave this town until my mission for Inquisitor Mendoza is completed. 4626I don t know what you believe in. But I believe in duty. 4627Carlos will only leave the town once Inquisitor Mendoza no longer has any assignments for him in the town. 4628Can I buy some meat? 4629Buy what you want, if you can pay for it. 4630I have meat by the piece, and sausage. 4631Hey. Did my old lady send you? 4632She did. 4633Tell her I ll come back when I ve found some gold. 4634No. 4635Good. 4636Never stops nagging. You re young...take my advice, don t get married. 4637Hey, you supposed to be here? 4638Got to watch yourself round here, if you re not authorised . 4639Don t think your new rank will protect you forever. 4643I could use your services. There s a guard over on the harbour quay... 4644Listen. Gold first, pleasure second. Those are the rules. 4645Pay at Madam Sonya s. Then we ll talk. 4646What do you think of the Inquisitor s laws? (Pickpocket) 4647What do you think of the Inquisitor s laws? 4648They re for our own protection. Besides, I wouldn t have the courage to run around out there. Those monsters from the ruins are everywhere. 4649I see. 4650What is that guy doing at the entrance? 4651You mean Balturo? He s one of Captain Romanov s men. 4652The old pirate often sends us people. The Don does business with him. 4653Usually some minor racket. Nothing important. At least, not for me. 4654I see. 4655Here. Is this the Don s amulet? (For the Don) 4656Hey! You found it! 4657I have to say I doubted you. Thought you were another collaborator. 4658But not any more. You ve done us both a favour. I ll make sure you re rewarded. 4659You should join us. We could use someone like you. 4660Your grain is going to be picked up soon. 4661Says who? Oh. It ll be Thomas. Am I right? 4662He should try working instead of chatting with strangers. 4663My field is twice the size of his. 4664And it still only takes me half the time to cultivate it. 4665He makes lazy people look busy does Thomas. 4666Mendoza has lost it! 4667He is endangering the lives of us all. He is even prepared to sacrifice this island. 4668He wants to...why would he do that? 4669And I m happy to give it to the Order...blade first. 4670What are you doing out here? 4671I m waiting for the right opportunity. 4672The right...opportunity? 4673People think the Gyrger s a legend. I know it s not. 4674The Gyrger? What s that supposed to be? 4675It s strong, a real challenge for a hunter! 4676No one believes that it really exists. But I know that it does, and I will prove it. 4677Uh-huh. And how will you do that? 4678Just look for the tracks. 4679Then everyone will see that I was right. 4680Isn t that because it is a legend? 4681You seen all these islands shooting out of the ground, covered in strange creatures? Legends are based on truth. 4682Tell me more about this thing. 4683Well, you re a little late. 4684Why? What do you mean? 4685Did you know Hemlar? 4686Course. This is a small place. 4687Not knowing someone is damn difficult! 4688Did you have much to do with him? 4689No. He just got his staff... and...and... 4690And... what? 4691Well, now and again he sold people some Brugleweed. Everyone knew what he did. 4692It was the Monastery s worst kept secret! 4693Does that mean you want to give me work? 4694If you follow the path north, you ll come to our camp. 4695And watch out for the hunters. 4696The lazy beggars are always trying to get others to do their work for em. 4697Thanks for your help. 4698You ve been through enough, you deserve a bit of kindness 4699I m sure I ll see you around. Good luck 4700They say everything will be better now. But I just don t understand people. 4701Getting knocked around by the Order or the Don, what s the difference? 4702What s in it for me if I help? 4703You can have the gold I offered them. 470450 gold pieces for each plate. Five plates, that s 250 all in. 4705250 s a good price, you won t get that much coin faster and easier anywhere else! 4706I want 400. 4707And I want Patty to roll naked in a bath of warm oil with me. But it ain t gonna happen! 4708Your boys wanted twice as much, that d be 500. 4709I ll take 400. I earn and that way you still come out ahead. 4710Hmm...Unfortunately you have a point. 4711All right, I ll pay 400. 4712But only if you make sure those greedy arses stick to our agreement in the future. 4713Agreed. 4714Did you find what you were looking for? 4715Yes. Now, I have to go into the volcano. 4716Be careful, there are many Saurians there, bad humans too. 4717Don t worry, those humans are on my side. 4718Fight well, my friend. 4719You too. Win back your honour. 4720My honour is met. 4721Now go alone. Finish what started long ago. 4722Your brother Olf wants you to go to your meeting point. 4723Thanks. I m on my way. 4724We have disrupted the Don s plans, the town should be safe for now. 4725Yes. We certainly have less to deal with now and weakening the Don strengthens us. 4726It is only a question of time until the Don finally abandons his plans altogether. 4727Now it is time that we dealt with the artefact smuggling. 4728I must know how the artefacts are leaving the town without being found. 4729I ve been to the small island. 4730And I found one of Steelbeard s clues there. 4731Then my job here is done. 4732Does that mean I don t get the pleasure of your company any longer? 4733You think I like hanging around you? 4734You d better get moving. Romanov will be keeping an eye on you. 4735Master Ignatius sent me. 4736I need a Mage s Staff. 4737You ve got far fast. A member of the Convocation now...that s pretty incredible... 4738Well, here s your Mage s staff and well done. 4739Thanks. 4740Don t thank me. Only way that s gonna save your life around here is if you know what to do with it. 4741You can trust me. 4742I m on your side. 4743So, you are the castaway that has been helping my men in the town. 4744I am. 4745Why didn t you say so right away? 4746You have done good work. 4747And for the right side. 4748By the way... 4749Brogar is collecting protection money from the people here in the camp. 4750What? Are you sure? 4751Hmmm, I d be surprised if he were being that brazen about it. On his own doorstep. 4752Do you have proof? Solid proof? If you could get me something concrete...that would help things here a lot. 4753If Brogar is to be stopped, Rachel will need proof that he is running a protection racket. 4754I m working on it. 4755Luis claims Brogar wants to replace the Don. 4756It gets tongues wagging and hands lazy. I wish he could see that, talk to the men... 4757This could be just the thing get Esteban going again, show him how bad things have got...But I m going to need more proof than the word of a drunken hunter! 4758Brogar is refusing to help the workers, they ve been attacked by the creatures in the swamp. 4759That sounds like him. Wouldn t want to risk his precious fighters to protect the workers. 4760This is all grist to the mill. Keep an eye on him, there s bound to be more. 4761More...it doesn t look like anyone is doing their job in this camp... 4762Don t worry, I didn t tell your husband about the business with Brogar. 4763Thank you. Like I said, he d only blame me. 4764Take this. It s all I can spare, but loyalty should be rewarded. I wish it could be bought... 4765Don Esteban knows about the business with Brogar. If you want real change...you can t keep things from him. 4766But I asked you not to! We sorted it, didn t we? What s the use in worrying him, now? 4767Things might not be good here, but Esteban had found some peace and now you... 4768Just go. 4769Brogar has ordered me to collect protection money for him. 4770What? Really? And who are you supposed to collect it from? 4771From all the men here who aren t one of his fighters. 4772He s really gone too far this time! 4773How long has he been getting money from them? 4774No idea. 4775All right...Just play along. Collect the gold and find out who s not paying so willingly. 4776Then we might be able to put a nail in Brogar s coffin. 4777He s not taking over this camp. Not while I live. 4778I certainly wouldn t want to see him with any real power. 4779(Back) 4780I collected all the money for Brogar, now what? 4781If my husband learns about this he ll have Brogar killed on the spot. 4782Then he ll give me hell for not keeping an eye on things... 4783Perhaps if you go to Brogar and tell him what you know. Threaten to pass it on to Esteban, maybe, he might buckle. 4784That would help keep things calm here for a while at least... 4785Well, I ll try talking to him. 4786You were right, Brogar folded. 4787Thank you. That will help calm things for now. Don t worry, that s not an end to it...when he s least expecting it, I ll slip something in his food. 4788I know poisons that will slowly turn a person inside out over several weeks! 4789Hmm, I might just stay away from your cooking in the future... 4790Here. You ve earned a reward. Oh, and one more thing... 4791Don t let Esteban know about this. He d just blame me. 4792I m not interested in getting you in trouble. 4793Now, that s out of the way, I d better get back to work. Thanks for all your help. You find anything else...let me know... 4794The fighters are holding show fights in the arena. 4795Well, they need something to work out their aggression. 4796Leave them to knock each other s brains out. It stops them bothering us! 4797Craig is running a betting ring. 4798He knows Esteban doesn t like that kind of thing. It just ends up with the men arguing. 4799This could be the spark that sets everything off. 4800Go and tell Craig I said to stop it if he knows what s good for him. 4801Brogar is forcing Sam to work for him instead of hunting 4802He s sawing wood for Brogar s fire. That s why you ve not been getting the meat you need. 4803Damn Brogar, I thought he was trying to undermine Esteban. 4804He d be nothing without the Don and now...I need that meat. 4805What do you want to do about it? 4806Me? You do what you can. They ll be a full-on rebellion if stomachs go empty. If you want to help out, get me meat, and get Sam back out hunting. 4807Dorgan, one of Brogar s people, had this list on him. 4808Can I see it, please? 4809Seems Dorgan was helping Brogar to pocket Esteban s gold. Where is he now? 4810Dead. I found him in a cave near the swamp. 4811This list will help. We ll need more evidence though, if we re to persuade Esteban Brogar is working for his own interests. 4812I m betting that Dorgan wasn t the only one in on it. 4813Rachel wants to know who the camp traitor is. 4814Brogar wants his money. 4815Take my gold. Take everything. But leave me alone. 4816Right...you mean I should fight? 4817Unravelling the meaning of my words is the first part of your test. 4818Which spells do you know the ingredients for? 4819Jest and Telekinesis. 4820Ursegor wants to be freed. If we free him he will show us a way to open the golden gate. 4821Ursegor wants to be freed. If we free him he will show us a way to open the golden gate. 4822Then free him, free him. We must know what has kept this Titan here. The more knowledge we have of this Titan...the more chance we have of stopping the others. 4823And let us see if this Ursegor will speak to me. 4824The intruders in your laboratory are gone. 4825Ah. That is good news. 4826I can return to my experiments. 4827These ruins aren t the most pleasant of surroundings. 4828You should see the lizards inside them. 4829I thought I d seen everything. But it seems you can find me excitement I hadn t thought of. 4830How are you? How s business? 4831Busy... 4832But since the Inquisitor s laws were passed, I ve been up to my neck in work. 4833Alvaro hardly leaves me any time to sit down with a beer, 4834Seriously, I can t remember the last time I slept. 4835What did you do to get locked up? 4836The Inquisition wanted me and my brothers to work for them. We re independent operators, picking sides is bad for business! 4837Then they got wind we d dug up these three golden bowls. And they want them. 4838They re obsessed with artefacts... 4839They can lock me up for as long as they like, but I m not telling them a thing about those bowls unless they pay me a decent price. 4840Your work here in the town is finished. 4841What are you talking about? Who sent you? Don Esteban? 4842It s time to move on. The Inquisition is done here. 4843I don t accept orders from the Don. 4844There is no more reason for your Warriors to stay here in Harbour Town. Leave. 4845The Crystal Discs have been found and the gate in the Monastery has been opened. Your duties lie in defending the Flame, not the town. 4846Then all our efforts here are to go to waste? 4847Very well. My men and I will leave the town, but remember the Inquisition rules this island, we do it for the people. If you take this town...the people become your responsibility. Treat them with care. Look after their needs. 4848So. My men have withdrawn. 4849 I hope you are satisfied. 4850You see a way in? 4851The walls look very thick here, there s go to be someway in though. Who builds a wall like that and doesn t leave a way in...or out. 4852I have a message from Don Esteban. 4853That s what you say! Maybe you re here to kill the Inquisitor. 4854Do you really think a nobody like me could kill the Inquisitor? 4855I think a nobody like you could be stupid enough to try... 4856You d better be from the Don, or the Inquisitor will introduce you to the Holy Flame...and I mean introduce you to it really close up! 4857You guarding this place? 4858The buildings, yeah. 4859We keep supplies here, and a lot of stuff from the ruins. 4860I also do a little, you know, trading. I ll get you anything you need for a little gold. It s a win-win situation. 4861I m sure we can help each other out. I mean we re friends now, aren t we? 4862What s going on? I must ve missed the action. Ah, I know, I need a drink to steady the old nerves. 4863What about these outlaws you mentioned? 4864Before the Inquisition came, Don Esteban had great influence in this town, but when we arrived, he retreated. 4865Now, this bandit king is hiding somewhere beyond these walls. 4866Without him, his people are disorganised. 4867As long as their numbers remain manageable, they have no power though they remain an irritant. 4868If we are to stop them becoming more than that we must remain alert. 4869I hope you re not here as Delgado s messenger again? 4870Otherwise it s another thrashing. Got it? 4871You can forget about getting your hands on one of Sonya s girls. 4872Well, I ll just keep the key then. 4873There s no way you re getting your hands it now. 4874Hey, sweetheart, how about I make a real man of you? 4875Once you get some Lilly-loving, you ll never look back! 4876How much will that cost me? 4877Oh, when I m finished with you, you ll feel like bathing me in gold! 4878But a couple of gold coins will do for starters. 4879Good, let s go. 4880Then follow me. Let s set you a course for heaven. 4881Lilly, one of Madam Sonya s girls, will provide a few hours of pleasure in exchange for gold. 4882I m not interested. 4883Come on, how long has it been since you had a warm body beside you? 4884What part of I m not interested did you not understand? 4885All right, all right. Can t blame a girl for trying. 4886Know any good jokes? (Pickpocket) 4887Know any good jokes? 4888Jokes? A sailor walks into the tavern. Under one arm, he has a chicken, and under the other, he has sausage. The innkeeper asks him... 4889I know that one. 4890If you re a fisherman maybe you d be interested in buying a fishmongers? 4891Nah. I ain t no storekeeper. 4892I need to be out in the waves. Well, when they ain t 50ft tall, that is. 4893Try Patty s tavern. 4894Duram says there might be someone at Patty s Tavern who is interested in buying a fishmongers. 4895Tristan says you can take me to Harbour Town. 4896I can. But did Tristan say I should take you there? 4897Not exactly. 4898Ha. Well ask me again when he does. 4899Can you teach me about alchemy? 4900I won t waste my art on just anyone. 4901I m not just anyone. 4902I only teach people who have a basic proficiency in alchemy. 4903If that s not you then don t waste my time. 4904I see Esteban has recruited a new member. He could do with some reinforcements. 4905And good luck to him! I m fed up of damn outsiders. First that garrison from the mainland, now the Inquisition! 4906I heard Lukor s also looking for the armour plates. 4907Really? Maybe he doesn t know as much as I thought. Well, make sure he doesn t get his paws on them. 4908They re the property of the Order! And they re going to stay that way! 4909What sort of weapons do you have? 4910Injure things, kill things, cause damage to things, that sort of weapon. But nothing s free. 4911But I ll trade if you can t pay with gold. 4912I have to talk to Don Esteban. 4913If what you say is true, then this concerns everyone here. 4914We must work together. 4915You! Carlos wants to talk. So move your carcass to the guard house. 4916Did you know Hemlar? 4917Not really. He was a friend of Harlok s. 4918If Harlok has friends, that is. 4919Why shouldn t Harlok have friends? 4920He s a pirate. I heard he was once cook on the Elenor. 4921Cook, dishwasher and on-board psychopath. 4922He s utterly evil. A killer who doesn t care. 4923But he got on with Hemlar? 4924Even killers don t kill everyone. Suppose even they need friends. 4925Ash says Harlok is a pirate with a lot of blood on his hands. 4926All right. I ll help you. 4927I appreciate that. Thank you. 4928Romanov will probably head for a ship. He ll risk the storms if he sniffs gold. 4929Then he s heading for the harbour? 4930Yes and I bet he ll use the Don s tunnel to get back in to the town. 4931If we hurry, we can cut him off. 4932You go ahead. I ll meet you there. 4933Patty needs help to get her father s nautical map back. Catch Romanov outside the tunnel to the town, otherwise he will steal a ship and escape. 4934I ve checked. The way out of the tunnel is clear. 4935It leads outside the town walls. 4936I m impressed. And not a question of a reward yet... 4937I don t have cause to say this often, but thank you. 4938I promise, once I ve found what I m looking for, I ll return the favour. 4939I m going to head for the beach outside the town, see what I can find. Got to start somewhere. 4940I ll be there for a little while. Just in case you get the urge to look for me. 4941Do you have work? 4944Well, Hawkins does want you back at work. 4945I knew it. But I won t go. You can forget it. 4946Here. Have a swig of this. Give you a little, liquid courage. (Give beer) 4947It s not courage I need. I m not afraid, staying away from them isn t about fear ... 4948No one knows how to stop the ancients. 4949Hawkins needs Enrico back at work, but Enrico is afraid the ancient sprits at the excavation sites will avenge themselves on him. Get him some protection so he will go back to work. 4950Find someone else for the job. Send Dwight...he doesn t hear them, he doesn t believe. 4951But you d better know...the spirits will come for you. 4952And there is no protection. 4953You want something to be afraid of, really afraid of...? 4954There s nothing you can do that s close to what those spirits will do to me! I can t go back there. 4955I find gold coins are a good cure for fear... 4956Gold?! What use is gold if they get to you?! 4957The Don s back...should mean it s easier for me to get furs... 4958But what good s that going to do me if the volcano erupts? 4959I ll retrieve the armour plates. 4960That s the spirit! 4961I m here if you ve got any more questions. 4962Lukor wants five armour plates retrieved. The day labourers Ingvar and Vasili, who hang around in Patty s tavern, and Duram, a worker in the harbour have them. 4963Wait here. 4964Wait here! 4965Hey...are you in the market for valuable artefacts? 4966You look like you re from the Monastery. 4967Yes. I am novice Hugh. 4968I assist Master Belschwur. 4969How do you know about Steelbeard s clues? 4970Everybody knows. 4971That s not an answer. 4972What the fuck does it matter who knows? Just find them. 4973Shouldn t you be hunting? 4974Dammit. Don t you start. 4975Everything s going to hell and I m ... supposed to go hunting? 4976No way. I d rather sit and have a lil drink. 4977It s time to stop drinking and start hunting. Move it. 4978Woah. You re starting to sound unfriendly. 4979If you got some hunting you need doing, do it yourself. 4980If you start hunting, I ll give you a beer. 4981Nope. That d mean I gotta move and I m not moving. You do it. 4982Why are you in the town and not in the swamp? 4983Simple, the Don doesn t let go of things that belong to him. 4984Some of us are keeping business going here. 4985Until the Inquisition move on. 4986Do you need help? 4987I m still supposed to be securing the gate but Kalib s run off. He s probably hiding. 4988If you find him, send him down here! 4989Santiago wants Kalib found and sent back to help secure the gate. 4990Have you seen your brothers? How are they? 4991I ve no idea. They went into the temple with the others. 4992This isn t good. I ve seen a lot of temples in my time, but there s something distinctly wrong about this one. 4993And then there s those noises... 4994I am here to free you. 4995I certainly hope so, but I am too small a piece for that to be your destiny in this game. 4996But we will speak later. 4997Let us go to my hut, before any more of those lizardmen come. They re Saurians by the way. 4998Yes, and can you help me with the ingredients? 4999Humph! I was brewing potions when you were learning to crawl! 5000Scrolls as well as potions? 5001Scrolls? Oh yes. 5002Yes, I once worked on a Polymorph potion. 5003I studied the Illusion scroll for that, as I recall. 5004I probably still have it here somewhere. 5005I m looking for Doyle. 5006Doyle? I haven t seen him in a long time. 5007Used to be a good customer of mine. 5008Well, he bought fish from me more than once. That s good in my book! 5009But maybe you could jog my memory, eh? 5010I ve spoken to Vitus. He s agreed you can take over training the recruits. 5011What me? Really? 5012You trained me...have more faith in yourself... 5013Right. Good. Well, thank you! 5014I definitely owe you one. 5015Right. Well. I d better get to work! 5016Come on, keep looking! You find him. (Hold out sleeve) 5017What s wrong? Don t you want to keep going? 5018Is Eldric in there? 5019Then I ll have to go on alone! 5020Good Wolf, you can go home now! 5021Why was Master Pallas of such importance? 5022Without his knowledge, the Frost Crystal may not be of use to us. 5023We will have to use what strength we have. 5024You ve already got trouble. 5025Yeah, but I m not dead! 5026I d rather take my chances with the worms than get Brogar angry. 5027Brogar can t be that bad. 5028Brogar is all bad. 5029Ask the hunters. They ll tell you what he s capable of. 5030Well, I offered to help. 5031Good to see you, sir. Looks like we have everything under control here. 5032Test Clear Children 5033Zweite Choice (Clear Children True) 5034Erste Choice! (clear Children True) 5035Nobody will face me in the arena. 5036That s one of the biggest compliments they can pay you. 5037Beating Brogar. That s a big thing in camp. A very big thing indeed. 5038You ll go a long way. Mark my words. 5039Yes. But I haven t faced Brogar. 5040Ah. That s a different world altogether. Brogar won t fight just for the hell of it. 5041His position in camp is built on his brawn and his ruthlessness. 5042He can t afford for anyone to beat him in combat. 5043It d weaken his power. So he s wary. As you should be. 5044I know what I m doing. 5045You d better. 5046Another one of the Don s lackeys? 5047That fool couldn t even hold Harbour Town. You think he s going to be any better in the swamps? 5048Carasco wants the armour plates back. 5049I m sure he does. But he won t pay you as good as I will. 5050So, forget Carasco and bring me those plates. 5051(Give the worst sword in the world) 5052I do have a pretty bad sword. But I don t think it s fair to challenge you in your state. 5053My state? I could beat you twice as drunk and half as ready. 5054You take my sword, I ll take yours...and I ll still beat you! 5055Come on, lad, let s go to the Arena. I ll show you who s in a state . 5056There is a Fire Titan imprisoned within the island, Mendoza wants to free it, to control it. 5057And if this goes wrong then we will be destroyed.. 5058And if the Inquisitor gets things right. 5059The Titan s presence is preventing the island from being destroyed by the storm. The Titan leaves, we re all done for. 5060Surely Mendoza realises this? 5061Yes, but he thinks he can control the Titan. The storms out there are caused by Titans. The Inquisitor wants to use it to free the mainland from the threat of the other Titans. 5062He is prepared to make any sacrifice to achieve that. 5063How does he think he can control it? 5064Hey, you! I ve got orders from Carlos to send you to the guard house. Get going! 5065Here. I got my hands on Steelbeard s map. 5066You ve got it? 5067Do you have any idea how valuable this map is? 5068Since it s a pirate s map I m guessing it s not showing picnic spots. 5069Right. My father marked all the islands and countries he visited on this map. 5070He hid gold in every one of these places. 5071There are a lot of wrong hands this could have fallen into. 5072So, thank you for bringing it to me. 5073You re a decent sort. Not many of those around here. 5074What about the rest of the gold from Steelbeard s treasure? 5075I ll take the map. You can have the gold. Deal? 5076I think I can live with that. 5077You can have also my father s old house if you want it. 5078It s close to the brothel...my father probably found that convenient. 5079Thanks, although I m not sure I ll have much use for it. 5080Well, it s yours. If you decide to stay on this island. 5081Well, that s that. 5082Looks that way. 5083Feel free to drop by the tavern any time you like. 5084The Gods know I d like to talk to someone who isn t a drunken ex-fisherman. 5085I might just do that. Take care of yourself. 5086What will you do now? 5087I ll go back to the town. 5088I can t leave the island in these storms. 5089Looks like we re both stuck here. 5100The warriors are finally gone. Smug lot. I hope they stay away. 5101Find the murderer, recruit! 5102Here are your armour plates. (For the Don) 5103Excellent. Hope the lads didn t kick up too much of a fuss. 5104Here s your gold. 5105And 150 extra, as agreed. 5106Let s hope the Inquisitor knows what he s doing. 5107You ready for this? 5108I look ready to you? 5109When does anyone look ready to die? 5110Commandant Carlos knows where you re hiding. 5111Go to the Monastery, or he will have you hung out for the crows. 5112You think the Monastery will break me do you? 5113There s nothing the Inquisitor can take from me he s not already taken a thousand times. 5114Then maybe you should take what he s offering instead of fighting him? 5115Not with my last breath. 5116Big talk...Just make sure you make your way the Monastery. 5117They ve tried ruling this island for years. They ve never broken us, and they never will. 5118Where did you get this artefact ? 5119It sort of fell into my possession...heard it might come from the temple ruins. And it looks valuable... 5120Hey! One more step and we re going to have an argument, understand? 5121Why should I go to the small island? 5122You re looking for something belongs to a pirate. 5123Island s protected by water isn t it? 5124If someone as dense as you can work that out, it doesn t seem like a very good place to hide something. 5125I m telling you, you ll find what you re looking for there. 5126We ll see. 5127Geh hier weg! 5128The east? What s there? 5129There s a fair bit of land. 5130Then a rocky peninsula. You can reach that via a long rope bridge. 5131You think the gnomes re on the peninsula? 5132Our patrols haven t found a base anywhere else. 5133According to Severin at the east end of the island, there is a long rope bridge that leads to a large rocky peninsula. 5134I ve talked to Don Esteban. 5135That s more than we have. I hope he snaps out of it soon, things have to change round here. 5136If I am to serve you, I need better armour. 5137(Back) 5138Favours are earned... 5139Prove your value and favour will follow. 5140If that is all... that I can provide. 5141Pay your share of gold to our war chest and I shall arrange your armour. 5142I need armour fit for a hunter. 5143We look after our own. Take it. 5144I take it, but is it freely offered? 5145A hunter s best defence is to know his prey. Plan well and you will never need to test your armour s strength. 5146I need armour fit for a fighter. 5147Take this, but remember, old fighters get old not because they are good at war, but because they know when to choose peace. 5148Thank you. I will remember that. 5149Make sure you do. I need live soldiers, not dead heroes. 5150I need armour fit for a captain. 5151It has been well earned. 5152If I stay on this island, I want to earn my place. 5153Then wear that armour with pride. And stand as my captain. 5154What s Fireflush? 5155It s a mage wine. One you have to be careful of. 5156Strong, is it? 5157Blow your socks off and curl your toes at the same time. 5158And it s a very difficult wine to get hold of. 5159What would I do with special wine? 5160Keep it for a special occasion. 5161I mean...if you were to give this to a special someone... 5162They d feel great, couple of sips they wouldn t know what they were saying. 5163It s a mage wine to save for special occasions , is Fireflush. 5164I mean I can get you wine wine as well, but this is your wine plus, your wine extra, your wink and your nod . 5165Halt! Who goes there? 5166Pull yourself together. How are you going to fight if you re scared? 5167Scared!? Do you have any idea what s going on? 5168Relax, I m here to help. 5169Yeah, well you scared me. 5170This place is a mess. 5171What do you know about these lizardmen? 5172They might seem like simple lizardmen to you! But they once ruled the world. But that was long ago, very long ago. 5173I have no idea where these come from, no, no, no. They should all be dead! Extinct! Yet here they are. It must have something to do with the ruins. 5174But do you think there are more lizardmen? 5175Who knows? Who knows. They must have been driven to places away from mankind, taken to hiding. 5176But the past lays claims on the future. The lizardmen, the Saurians are a part of the past, maybe now they wish to claim the future! 5177Collect all the teleport stones on the island. 5178So, you know about the Illusion scroll? 5179Well, I did. Knowledge fades when unused. There is a book about it around here. I forget where. 5180If you can find it, by all means read it. But please don t mess things up. 5181Where is Doyle? 5182I last heard he d taken quarters with Costa. But since then he hasn t been seen in the Gutters. 5183Maybe he s gone into hiding for some reason. Lots of strange goings on around here. 5184...A few notes on old business... 5185Where can I find Baxter? 5186In the slaughterhouse at the harbour. He runs the meat trade here. 5187He s quite a jovial fellow, but he takes his job very seriously. 5188Piss off. I heard what you did to Aric. 5189If you try anything with me I ll break every bone you have. 5190Traitor! 5191You! 5192That gate there. 5193What about it? 5194We must open it, quickly! We must get inside this place. 5195Inspect the cave, there may be something in here that helps open the gate. 5196I found Master Pallas s notes. 5197With those we may stand a chance. Maybe I can unlock the secrets of the Frost Crystal. 5198Are any of your workers around? 5199They should all be at the excavation site. But that doesn t mean they will be. 5200You ll recognise them. They ll be wearing workers clothes. 5201Even if they ve got no intention of working. Uncontrollable, most of them. That s what the swamp, and being ignored, does to you. 5202All the workers wear workers clothes and are usually found at the excavation sites. 5203You really have given up, haven t you? 5204Well you would in my position. It s hopeless. Hopeless! 5205Hopeless isn t a word I use. 5206How did you end up in charge of the workers? 5207Don t think I volunteered. No way. 5208The Don pointed his finger at me and said... 5209You will oversee the excavations. And that was it. 5210So, the Don doesn t take no for an answer. 5211So, you re not interested in changing anything? 5212Why are you so interested? 5213Why do you care about us? 5214Will you sell me your piece of the sword? 5215It d have to be for, ooh, no less than 100 gold. 5216That s a deal. 5217What? Really? Fine. Well, here it is. 5218I ll give it some thought. 5219That s the deal. 5220Don Esteban? Do you have any tasks for me? 5221Well, if it isn t our castaway...at least one man here is scrupulous about his tasks. 5222Many of my men are too busy worrying about the Inquisitor and lining their own pockets. 5223Maybe we need to give them something else to think about. 5224They are my sword. If my sword is dull and the Inquisitor attacks... 5225He hasn t attacked so far. 5226Which doesn t mean he won t. Fear has haunted us for months. 5227A man s spirit won t remain true for long in that climate. 5232So, you prey on people s poverty? 5233Hey! No one is forcing them to sell their stuff. 5234If they wish to trade their family heirlooms for a hot meal... 5235...I m the man who helps them. 5236I m a charitable man, just like Belschwur. 5237They d be sleeping in the gutter without me! 5238I found Cid s spy. 5239And Cid ordered him to do it. Right? 5240Yes. It was Doyle - one of the day labourers. He s scared to death - and does not want to go to the Monastery. 5241What should I do with Doyle? 5242With his confession, Cid can be brought to justice. The burglaries will end. And maybe Mendoza will look positively on me. 5243As long as Doyle s kept safe and hidden! 5244Make sure Doyle understands that he needs to join us to stay safe. Then deal with Cid. 5245Brogar s sent me to collect the money you owe him. 5246So, he s got you working for him? Thought you might have more sense! Here, take it, hope you choke on it. 5247I ve heard that you had arguments with Hemlar. 5248What are you saying? That I killed him? I never touched him! 5249You were seen in the Cemetery the night he was killed. 5250So? 5251So...that makes me suspicious. 5252Damn that Hemlar. He s dead and still making my life miserable! 5253Zeig doch mal die Bildaaaa! 5254(Zuruck) 5255Eine Insel! 5256... (seufz) ... 5257... Tolle Insel, oder?!? ... 5258Hey, you new? 5259I know the ingredient you need for a Nautilus scroll. 5260Great! I ll trade you. What spells do you need to know the ingredients for? 5261I d rather trade gold, say a hundred gold coins? 5262I d rather trade knowledge of magic, but all right. 5263I suppose I ll have to pay. 5264Here s the gold. 5265Right. To create a Nautilus scroll, first you need an empty Nautilus shell. 5266I should have thought of that myself! 5267Can you tell me what I need for a Telekinesis scroll? 5268Can you tell me what I need for a Jest scroll? 5269I found Ursegor. 5270Did you find the key? 5271No, I found Ursegor. His body is long dead. But his spirit remains. 5272What s going on?! Where did these lizardmen come from? 5273They ve captured a lot of the Monastery. You re to go to the Holy Hall to help there. 5274Yes, yes, but they ve locked themselves in my laboratory. They ll be wrecking my work!! 5275Whatever they are we can t leave them with access to the things in there. 5276I really don t need to see this place again. 5277I won t be long, but I do need to take a look around. 5278Well, look and let s get out of here. 5279We fight for humanity. For our people. 5280They rely upon our strength. 5281I am their strength. 5282They are mine. 5283Can t work all day. Take a break. 5284And who will do my job? You? 5285I can give it a try. 5286Alvaro would love that. Me getting any old person to do my job. 5287Or he d be glad for his smith to get some rest. 5288What makes Alvaro glad is chests bulging with gold. 5289Talk to Alvaro and see if he will let Walter the smith take a break. 5290How much do you want for these golden bowls? 5291Want to join the queue do you? Well, at least you re talking price. That s more than they are! 5292Give me 200 gold and I ll tell you where I hid mine - deal? 5293Hey, you! 5294What, this time you re actually starting a conversation? 5295I ve got something for you. 5296What? 5297A message from Brogar. 5298Piss off and get stabbed somewhere. 5299Oh mate! Oh that s good news! 5300And you didn t have to lift a finger. Mate . 5301I know. Thanks. I mean it. 5302Don t get involved with the Don again. I mean it. 5303Yeah mate. You don t have to worry about that! 5304Has Master Vitus given you permission to enter? If not...stay away! 5305What did she say? 5306I calmed her down. You can keep running your books. 5307Phew. We were lucky. You were lucky. 5308Next time, talk to me before blabbing. In fact, make sure there isn t a next time. Right? 5309Hey, come out to see the pigs? 5310I m in serious danger of nodding off, here. Oh for a little excitement! 5311You re nothing but a lousy thug. 5312Well, that hurt, but I m still not giving you any of my gold. 5313Come to gloat have you? Stealing gold from an honest businessman, who s just trying to help folks get by! 5314I did warn you. 5315We ve all got to make a living, I guess. 5316So, let bygones be bygones, eh? 5317Well, if it means you ll be spending some coin with me, then I ll oblige. 5318Yes, what do you want? 5319I have a really bad feeling about the path here. 5320We are in the wrong place. I can feel it in my bones. 5321You know any good jokes? (Pickpocket) 5322You know any good jokes? 5323You think now s the time for jokes? Maybe...most people could do with cheering up. You hear the one about the Gyrger and the Treasure Seeker? 5324Yeah, sorry, I ve heard that one. 5325After somewhere peaceful? 5326I m Cole, by the way. 5327I was just looking around. 5328It s quiet. 5329And with the madness going on you don t find that many places. 5330What do you do here? 5331I pray to the Holy Flame. 5332I pray that we ll all be protected. And that I can once again be a hunter. 5333Is this a place of prayer? 5334This is the Shrine of the Holy Flame. 5335A place of calm in a violent, lawless world. 5336And you re here to pray? 5337Yes. I pray that this will all be over and I can again go back to being a hunter. 5338Tristan says you should take me to the rear gate of Harbour Town. 5339All right, but it s a long, dangerous journey. This island is far from safe, you know. 5340So be prepared. 5341...The Naked Monk... A Cookbook... 5342I guess I ll make a copy of that... 5343You look tired. 5344And you look ugly, piss off. 5345Erikson got what he deserved. 5346Yeah. I saw you gave him quite the beating. Gladdened my heart, it did. 5347But it ain t enough. In a few days he ll be back on that bench again. Staring. Licking. Gesturing. 5348Aric could be an arsehole...but he was the only one round here that knew how to fight. 5349And stab people in the back. 5350A good quality in a fight! 5351Battle makes you glad of a killer... 5352And how do we open it? 5353If a gate can be closed, it can also be opened. 5354I will send out scouts to find the mechanism that opens it. 5355But, keep your eyes open too. I suspect there may be more than one mechanism that controls this gate. 5356Go, search to the north. 5357Inquisitor Mendoza suspects that there is more than one mechanism to open the gate. 5358Let s trade. 5359Look who we have here. Have a sudden attack of bravery did you? 5360Ready to fight these White Robes? 5361I heard Konrad swearing at you. 5362That bastard only cares about gold. At least now he knows what it s like to lose something. 5363Have you come across a piece of a sword blade? 5364The one Oscar s trying to piece together? He wants to make a sword for the Don, I believe. 5365And? 5366And I might have a piece of it. Oscar tried to buy it from me, in fact. 5367But he wasn t offering enough so I thought I d hang on to it. 5374I have a message for the Inquisitor, from Don Esteban. 5375The Don, huh? That will get you in, but try stealing anything, or causing trouble... 5376...and I ll feed you to the pigs. 5377Are we clear? 5378I m not looking for trouble. 5379There are those that find it without looking. Go on. Pass. 5380Oh, yeah...we re clear. 5381Word to the wise... 5382...get cocky with the Inquisitor, they ll be picking up pieces of you for weeks. Get me? 5383I got it the first time...When it was clear. 5384Go and deliver your message. 5385What s wrong with her? 5386She s feverish. I blame these cursed bloody ruins. 5387Why? How did they make her ill? 5388They came out of the ground right next to my damn farm. 5389Next day, Martha caught this fever. 5390And she s got sicker since then. 5391I don t know what to do. 5392Her only hope is Master Belschwur. 5393Then you trust me? 5394Your deeds have proven you a worthy commandant. 5395Mendoza has lost his way, I put my trust in you to help us find ours. 5396Since I am the highest ranking commandant, I invoke the old law 5397I name you Inquisitor of the Order. 5398This title will open the way for you. 5399And I can grant you this armour. 5400It will serve you better than any other which you have worn so far. 5401Mendoza set out to save us. Now you must serve that wish, by stopping what he has become. 5402I don t need your map anymore. 5403Bloody hell. You could have said so earlier! 5404I have got other things to do, you know! 5405Anywhere round here I can sleep? 5406It s not a good idea to spend the night in just any old bed. 5407That s asking for trouble. 5408But, I have a couple of beds on the upper floor. I don t ask much. Just 30 gold coins. 5409They re safe, peaceful and you won t wake up with lice in your hair! 5410Hey. They call me Cid. 5411And you must be another lapdog of the Order. 5412I hope you re not some faceless minion of the Order. 5413Your protection money is due. Hand it over. 5414Yeah, here you are. HIC... don t need to get rough. 5415Just tell me what you know. 5416Okay, so I saw Hemlar in the Cemetery. 5417He was always heading there late at night. Rumour was he hid his gold in one of the graves. But turned out he was meeting someone. Didn t see their face. 5418Is there anything you d be prepared to teach me? 5419Crossbow 7 5420Crossbow 3 5421Crossbow 1 5422Show me how to fight with the crossbow. 5423Crossbow 6 5424Crossbow 5 5425Strength + 5 5426Strength +1 5427(Back) 5428Crossbow 2 5429Crossbow 4 5430Somewhat. How s it going? 5431Not good, not good. These storms ain t budging. 5432So, you re a sailor? 5433Fisherman. Though there ain t no fish out there d make me want to brave these storms! 5434So, right now I m lugging crates. Doesn t pay much, but it s a great deal safer! 5435Why did you do it, lad? 5436Do what, Master Aric? 5437Couldn t you have come to me first? 5438You really don t understand, do you? 5439The evidence is conclusive, Master Aric murdered Hemlar. 5440I just did this to find Hemlar s killer. That s you, Master Aric. 5441You think I don t care about what I did? I never intended it to end this way. 5442You think I don t wake up in a cold sweat every night seeing his face? 5443Then why did you kill him? 5444All I wanted was my share. For helping him find clients, for turning a blind eye. I needed that gold to get back to the mainland. I have to find them. 5445So, what s happening on the mainland? 5446I may never know now. It maybe too late. Too late for any of us. 5447The Brugle was my last hope to get home. Their last hope. 5448I understand you re looking for a business opportunity. Maybe we should find one together. 5449Not after what you did. 5450You ve no idea. 5451You ve no idea what s happening beyond this island! 5452You seem to know a lot about Brogar. 5453More n you think. And not just about Brogar. 5454You get me more beer and then I ll really tell you something. 5455I get you more beer and I ll be lucky to understand you...I ll see what I can do. 5456Incredible...and what did this Ursegor say? 5457There is a Fire Titan imprisoned behind the golden gate. 5458An imprisoned Titan. That explains why the other Titans don t come here, its presence must be keeping them away. 5459But, why has this Titan remained trapped while the others have escaped? 5460You said the door is locked. 5461It is. You ll need another way in. 5462Which would be? 5463A secret entrance from the small library. Now go, go! Save our knowledge! 5464How was it no one ever saw these creatures before? 5465I look like a lizard expert? Maybe they re shy. 5466They re not so shy with a sword in their hand. 5467I could say the same about you. 5468I ll switch to being coy if that d be more helpful. 5469Can you teach me anything? 5470Love to. But I don t have any time - thanks to Alvaro. 5471Here s the gold. Now, tell me where you hid the bowl. 5472I knew the Inquisition had been watching me. 5473So, I lost them, hid the bowl in the harbour lighthouse. 5474Threw it up into the wooden beams. Going to be difficult getting it back without a telekinesis spell. 5475Course, that s your problem now. 5476Olf s golden bowl is up among the wooden beams at the lighthouse. But it can t be retrieved without telekinesis. 5477You know, if I were you, I d sort your problems with Brogar. And be quick about it. 5478If you don t, well let s just say everyone will be betting on Brogar. 5479You might want to change your Odds, you don t want to bet against me. 5480Got a conscience now? Changed your mind and come to give me gold? 5481I have a few coins. Here, take them. 5482Thank you. I d almost stopped believing in people. 5483No. When times are tough, everyone has to look after themselves. 5484You re as bad as the others. 5485What will happen with the Don and Harbour Town? 5486What is the fate of one town when the world is at stake? 5487Let the Don take it. I do not care. 5488Inquisitor Mendoza has other things to worry about than Harbour Town. He doesn t care if Don Esteban takes control of the town again...at least for now. 5489Does this place feel dangerous to you? 5490It ll be all right. 5491An optimist hey? Let s hope those happy thoughts scare off whatever is down here. 5492Stop there, brother. 5493Are you on guard duty? 5494You can t enter the Cemetery. Please, go back to your training. 5495Find a way to gain access to the Cemetery. 5496Ha. I don t like faces I don t know well. 5497And your face is too pretty. Slap some make up on you and you could work the brothels... 5498I d get out now, recruit . If you re lucky Rachel might give you supplies before she sends you packing. 5499Take my advice, novice . Hanging around here will be bad for your health. Rachel might give you some meat to eat...most people will give you something sharper. 5500Can you teach me the basics of alchemy? 5501For you? Of course! Of course! No problem. 5502Sure. I ve picked up a few things from Leonardo. 5503But I don t get a salary, so a little donation would be appreciated. 5504Say...50 gold coins? 5505The grave moths are all dead. 5506That s great! The pigs will be happy. 5507I m Derry, by the way. 5508Derry, guardian of the pigs. 5509That s me. Here - take some coins, the pigs say thank you. 5510Well, look who s come crawling back. 5511What do you want, coward? 5512Do these ships really need guarding? 5513Ships...no, cargo yes. 5514And while these ships are stuck here... 5515...it is the Inquisition s duty to protect them. 5516So, here I am. 5517No, we are completely off up here. 5518I d bet we need to go farther north. 5519How do you know that? 5520I m a hunter...trust the instinct. 5521I hear there s a fur shop for sale. (Pickpocket) 5522I hear there s a fur shop for sale. Would you be interested? 5523A fur shop? I’m not buying another stall. I’ll be happy if I never sell another thing. Know any hermits? I think I’d make a good one of those. 5524Where can I find your three servants? 5525They are here, in the chambers of the crypt. 5526But the chambers are barred. You will need the key. 5527Where can I find the key? 5528I will give it to you. 5529Once you get inside the chambers, take the skulls of my servants. You will need them to open the gate. 5530Ursegor s three servants are entombed in the chambers of the crypt. Ursegor has provided the key that will open the gate. The servants skulls will be needed to reach the soul splinters. 5531I m ready. Let s go to Harbour Town. 5532Stay behind me. All right? 5533So, you think you re one of us? I ve been here longer so when gold gets shared out...you d better remember that. 5534Do you have anything new to report? 5535You re still an arse, is that news to you? 5536Another new face...While you re here - Follow the law. Step out of line, steal anything I ll hack your hands off. Is that clear? 5537The servants you wanted are now at work. 5538Excellent. You ve earned my trust. Keep the rest of the gold. 5539Very generous. 5540It was a fair wage! 5541If you want to beg for more money, sniff round Master Belschwur in the Gutters. 5542I ve got this bottle of wine. Maybe we can have a drink? A talk? 5543I didn t ask you to bring me wine. 5544No. But as a Master you deserve it. 5545I shouldn t. Doesn t bring out the best in me. Ah, hell, it s been a long week. Go ahead. 5546The Titan was imprisoned by a Titan lord - Ursegor. 5547The Titan was imprisoned by a Titan lord - Ursegor. 5548The Inquisitor is using his secrets, but if I can find the Titan Lord s armour, I can lock the Titan back in its prison. 5549But I don t have much time. Once the Titan is free and in full possession of its powers... 5550... then this island is doomed. 5551You can count on our help. Where do we find this armour? 5552You! Yes you! Carlos wants to talk with you. Get to the guard house. 5553You ve got me curious. What is it you re looking for? 5554Right terrier, aren t you? 5555Well, don t get too excited it s nothing you can sell. I need to find my father. 5556Really? 5557He went missing in the storms. His name s Gregorius. He s ...a sailor. 5558I heard he was here. That s why I came, but I got stranded by the storms. Then the owner of this place was killed, got sent into the ruins by the Inquisition. So I took this place over. 5559Haven t found a trace of my father, though. He must be somewhere outside the town. 5568I suppose, if you have a basic knowledge of Alchemy... 5569but it would take you years to learn properly... 5570You work the dig site...what do you know about Enrico? 5571I know he s a little crazy. No wonder really... 5572A few weeks ago, we were excavating this temple here. 5573Enrico got trapped, he was buried under the rubble for three whole days. 5574He s been off his rocker ever since we dug him out. 5575Keeps talking about ghosts. 5576And who will look after the people now the Don is here? Master Belschwur is the only one who cares about them. 5577Does this mean you will train me? 5578You have proven yourself worthy of instruction. 5579Do you have a problem with Carasco? 5580Well, let s see... All those temples turn up and we re thinking Hurrah, the gods have finally smiled on us. 5581Then the Inquisition arrive, take over our island and start claiming all the treasure from the temple belongs to them! 5582How would you feel? 5583I hope you rot like the rest of those fanatics. 5584How did you become a novice? 5585I volunteered. Master Belschwur said I have what it takes and gave me his blessing. 5586After I convinced Commandant Carlos of my worth I was allowed to go to the Monastery to begin training. 5587One day, I will be a powerful mage. A master of the Order. 5588Da bin ich! 5589What do you think about Don Esteban? (Pickpocket) 5590What do you think about Don Esteban? 5591You can say what you like about the Don, but he has never left us in the lurch. You can always count on his word. 5592Hey. You re a hunter? Well done. 5593You re one of us. An elite band. Of misfits, mainly. 5594Not bad for a castaway... 5595Not bad at all... 5596Be proud of yourself. 5597And as a fellow hunter, if you need help, you know where I am. 5598Hey...Hey...Are you real? 5599The lizards caught you, too, huh? Want some mushroom? 5600Mmmm...Fungus, my favourite. 5601Delicious, huh? 5602Nothing like mould on fungus to make it really tasty. 5603No, thanks. 5604You ll change your mind. These things will taste sweet as honey when you ve been here a few years. 5605Sweeeet as honey. 5606About this treasure seeker... 5607(Back) 5608What is he accused of? 5609He isn t a treasure seeker he s a treasure stealer. 5610And he s gonna stay locked up until what he nicked turns up. 5611Until Carasco has three artefacts, three golden bowls in his hands, then this thief isn t going anywhere. 5612Who is Carasco? 5613One of the Order s warriors. He looks after the warehouse on the harbour quay. 5614I see. 5615The business with Carasco and the golden bowls has been dealt with. 5616You can let the prisoner go. 5617Oh? Is that so? 5618I found the three golden bowls and gave them to Carasco. 5619I tracked down the people who had the bowls, but they sold them to smugglers, they ll be miles away by now. 5620Looks like Carasco failed to stop the smugglers. 5621Carasco is dead. 5622Are you sure? 5623Absolutely. 5624Well, I suppose there s no point in wasting food on Olf, then! We ve more to be worried about than some bowls . 5625Wait here, I ll get him. 5626Hey! Send the prisoner out here! 5627Carasco wants me to question the prisoner. 5628You might as well talk to a log. If he hasn t talked to us, he isn t going to talk to you. 5629What s the harm in trying? 5630So, I let you talk to him, then the artefacts get vanished is that it? 5631You d better not be yanking my chain. 5632I m going to ask Carasco if he sent you, and you had better not be lying. 5633Sure, but you ll just be wasting your time and his. But Carasco ll understand. He s such an understanding man. 5634Damned if I do, damned if I don t? Alright talk to him, see what he says. 5635I doubt he s gonna spill his guts to you. But if Carasco sent you then you d better get in there. 5636Isn t there a way that you can forget all this and let him go? 5637Are you trying to bribe me? 5638Until Carasco tells me differently, no one is going in there. 5639And Olf isn t setting foot outside until I know what s happened to these three bowls he got his hands on. 5640Hernandez will hold Olf prisoner until the fate of three golden bowls is clear, or he gets a message from Carasco. 5641(Buy a bottle of wine) 5642I ll buy a bottle of wine. 5643Great, pleasure to meet another connoisseur . 5644I need to find clean lodgings for a sick woman. A farmer s wife. 5645What does that have to do with me? 5646I ll pay for her bed. 5647Well, that s a different matter... 5648If there s coin in it, then come one, come all. 5649How generous of you. 5650Oh, just forget it! 5651Oh, that I can do... and for free! 5652As long as this mess with Delgado remains unsorted, I don t have time for such nonsense. 5653Let us go to my hut. 5654Come on, why are we standing here where lizardmen may find us!? 5655I m looking for Doyle. 5656Who? Doyle? I ve never seen him around here. 5657He deals in fish? 5658Well, he doesn t work for me. Maybe you should ask Philus. 5659How are you doing with your studies? (Pickpocket) 5660How are you doing with your studies? 5661Some days I don t think I m going to complete my studies, not even if I manage to live to a hundred. 5662Come along. 5663(End) 5664Wait here. 5665Let s go. 5666Your smith s a hard worker. 5667Lots of work means lots of profit. We re about the only ones doing well here, so we have to take the work while we can. 5668Your smith looks like he s about to collapse. 5669Walter? He s as strong as an ogre. 5670Even ogres fall over at some point. 5671I m not a tyrant, you know. 5672But the work has to be done. 5673I can take over from Walter. 5674No thanks. I know Walter and most of the work is done. 5675But, if you could find me someone to help with blade sharpening and a bit of wood-chopping... 5676Who can help you with those jobs? 5677There are a couple of servants here in the Merchants Quarter. 5678If you can find them and pay them to work for me, that ll take the strain off Walter. 5679Here s a bag of gold for the servants. It doesn t get delivered, I ll know. Harbour Town is a small place and the gates are sealed. 5680Does this mean Walter will get a break? 5681As soon as he s finished Marcelo s blade he can stop. 5682Hire the two servants in the merchants quarter to work for Alvaro. Then tell Walter he can take a break after he s finished Marcello s blade staff. 5683Don Esteban has retaken Harbour Town. 5684Let him. It does not matter to me. 5685What is the fate of one town when the world is at stake? 5686These walls can t stop us. 5687I need some lock picks. 5688What say we negotiate a little? 5689You know I m new here then...? 5690Shiny skin, gormless expression. You re not the first... It s the heap of gold in the temple. It sucks in idiots like flies to shit. 5691But there s no one round here that wants to split their share of the Don s gold any further... 5692You there. You d better not be a looter, or a vagrant. 5693I am an emissary from Don Esteban. 5694Ha. Is that so? I didn t think the Don s men went around alone, you tend to travel in packs. 5695Anything much happening out here? 5696We ve got grave moths buzzing around everywhere, I can t let the pigs out of my sight. 5697Grave moths eat pigs? 5698If they re hungry enough, they ll eat anything. 5699And pigs aren t known for being able to defend themselves. 5700Have you caught people trying to steal from the ships? 5701There are those stupid enough to try, but nothing escapes my eagle eyes. Nothing. 5702Of course not. 5703Don t mock. You don t want to end up like our prisoner in the harbour quay jail, do you? 5704Those little guys really made themselves at home here. 5705That s just an old ruin. 5706I bet all the junk that people on the island have lost wound up here. 5707Let s go on. I can t wait to see what we find. 5708Do you eat a lot of fried meat? (Pickpocket) 5709Do you eat a lot of fried meat? 5710Lots. Once I, Ukkos, ate a whole cow. It was a small cow, but a big steak! Humans get mad when I eat whole cows. 5711Yeah, then maybe you shouldn t do that too often. 5712Can you teach me anything about hunting? 5713I could, but if you re thinking of going on an expedition, there s nothing here in the town to hunt. 5714Can you teach me about archery? 5715That I can show you. 5716I have found what you asked me for. I have found the soul splinters. 5717Good. Now is the time. Set me free! 5718How? What do I do? 5719Say it! Speak the word, say that I am free! 5720The island is full of dangers. Even this lake down here. 5721Stay on the walkway and you should be safe. 5722Let s move on. 5723Ah. It s you. How goes it, going, goes, it going? 5724Don t you think it s time you stopped drinking? 5725Nope. While the fighters are so wound up, I m staying right here and HIC relaxing. 5726You belong to the Don s gang... What did you go and do that for? 5727You have a problem with the Don? 5728The Don s men are thieves. They d steal the teeth out of an old ladies mouth then claim they did it to stop her biting herself. Always have an excuse. Always doing it in the interests of the island . 5729But pirates are okay? 5730At least pirates have skills. The Don s men couldn t stitch a sail between the lot of them. 5731As long as noone pays me, I don t have to move. 5732What did you do to Kato? 5733Fought him, you said to train. 5734I said to train. 5735I ve never seen him look so battered. 5736But a few victories against a few trainees won t make you a proper fighter. 5737No? 5738No. The time has come for you to face me. 5739If you feel like getting some more training, now would be the time. Unless you want to make it easy for me to pull your liver through your nostrils? 5740Oi! You there! Go to the guard house. Carlos wants to talk to you. 5741You have a wolf? 5742Henrik trained him. 5743Natural hunter. 5744Once he picks up a scent, nothing can distract him. 5745How do you plan on getting out of town? 5746No damn idea! No damn idea, yet. 5747I did hear there s a secret way out of the town. The Don uses it to get around the Inquisition. 5748No idea if it s true. There s so much bloody talk in this place. 5749Found anything new on the burglaries? 5750Doyle has disappeared. 5751What? Cid got rid of his accomplice? 5752That s terrible news. Now we don t have anything we can use against him. 5753There s no choice now, you re going to have to keep an eye on Cid himself. 5754I don t want anything to do with you lot. Whatever you want, I ain t talking. 5755Commandant or Don. It makes not difference who runs the town. We won t get anything out of it. 5756Hey, wait. You came up the mountain, right? 5757So? 5758What business do you have out here? I don t recognise you. 5759What s my business to you? 5760Oh, nothing, nothing. But if Santiago spots you, you ll be in trouble. 5761I m on an assignment from the Inquisitor. 5762Really? What s the old man got you doing? 5763I m supposed to find Hemlar s killer. 5764Ha! Rather you than me! 5765It s both of us, actually. Master Vitus said you re to help me. 5766What? You re joking ain t you? 5767Afraid not. 5768Arh, that s all I need! 5769Okay...let s get this thing wrapped up quickly! I don t want to get on the Inquisitor s bad side... 5770How have you been smuggling artefacts out of town? 5771A tunnel. It leads outside the walls. 5772As long as the White Robes don t discover the exit, we can come and go unseen. 5773I see. 5774Master Belschwur wants me to hand out some healing potions. 5775The people here need help, there are many sick and injured. 5778What do you think this place is? 5779An ancient fortress. 5780It must belong to the lizards we met at the portal. 5781We must get inside it. 5782I have brought you the sword you were searching for. 5783Hmm... That is Oscar s work. I can see that right away. 5784The Temple s collapsing. It could go completely at any moment. 5785There s something big, something terrible going on under the earth. 5786Let s go to your hut. 5787Follow me! 5788Toni s going to leave. 5789Good. That ll save me having to stare at him all day. 5790Here s some gold to line your pocket. 5791You should think about getting some training in the Monastery. 5792We could use a man like you. 5793This is the training area. 5794Where Master Aric whips new recruits into shape. 5795Once you ve finished basic instruction, Master Vitus will conduct your training further. 5796It you treat him right Master Aric s a decent sort. 5797Let s move, before someone sticks a broom in your hand. 5798Oh, and you re sharing your room with Hemlar. He s rather grumpy, but shouldn t cause you any worry. 5799... Lost in the Library, A Survivor s Tale for bibliophiles... 5800Ah. There you are. It s about time. 5801The town will soon belong to the Don, to the people of this island, it is time they were free! 5802Hah... I must say I expected more of you. 5803Leave, leave before my anger becomes something else. 5804I m volunteering to join the Order. 5805Hmm... Is that so? Well, let me explain how things work here. 5806In this town, Inquisitor Mendoza s law prevails. 5807And I see that his law is followed. 5808Every troublemaker and criminal who tries to break the law will be punished. 5809Those who aid the civic cause and help to keep the peace...will be rewarded. 5810I m a castaway, I haven t taken any side. 5811I ve coped with everything so far. 5812The newcomer at the Monastery. 5813Let me have a look at you. See if you match what I have heard... 5814You ve heard of me? 5815Your reputation precedes you. 5816No one I know has completed their training in the Monastery so quickly. 5817That is impressive. 5818So...you are prepared to give your commitment, your life to the Order? 5819I am ready, Commandant. 5820That depends what the Order gives me. 5821I see. You re the type motivated by gold s passing gleam. 5822The spirit is stronger, when it is comfortable... 5823You know me? 5824This is a small island. We ve got used to refugees, but they still stand out. 5825Question is are you a spy for Don Esteban? 5826Someone seeking to join the Order of the Flame? 5827Or something else... 5828So... 5829Why don t you tell me what you want in this town? 5830The tavern keeper Patty is looking for her father. 5831Patty? Patty Steelbeard? 5832That cunning bitch is anything but a tavern keeper! 5833Her father is Captain Gregorius Steelbeard. Also a... man of the sea . 5834And credit where it s due, he s a great one, too. 5835Not that the lice ridden old bastard didn t make my life hell. 5836I wouldn t trust his daughter further than I could throw her. 5837Same blood, after all. 5838I ll keep that in mind. 5839What are you doing here? 5840I m admiring the view, great view. That s why we get all these tourists. 5841Ha, that and the friendly locals. 5842Hello there. Are you on your way to the Monastery? 5843For the Don. 5844For the Don. Come on, men...to the Temple Ruins! 5845Go ahead. We ll follow you. 5846Go ahead. I ll follow you. 5847Tell me about Konrad. 5848His house is full of supplies, but he won t share them if that s what you re after. 5849He didn t lift a finger to help us when they took our cows to be slaughtered and we ve known him for years. 5850Who took your cows? 5851The Inquisition! 5852Said they needed to feed people, but now how do we feed ourselves? 5853Course Konrad talked to Carlos and got his cows spared! 5854zuruck 5855The Nautilus spell produces a shell of energy that rolls around the mage casting it. 5856The mage transforms. 5857Shrinking so they may enter small spaces. 5858That could come in handy... 5859Mendoza said the mainland had been destroyed. Is that true? 5860From what we know, much of it has been. Our mission is more than just finding a way to counter the Titans. 5861We are looking for islands like this, anywhere that has been protected, anywhere people have survived. 5862Then it s true. And the king, the royal garrison, are they dead too? 5863We can t let people discover that. Thinking the mainland is still there, that the king can help. That s their last hope. 5864Well, now is not the time to judge the policies of the Order. 5865And people need their hope... 5866I need a place to sleep. 5867Hmm... Take Brogar s hut. 5868I don t think anyone s going to dispute your right to it! 5869Well, I arrived here with just a mouthful of sand, so a shack in the swamp is step up I suppose. 5870What happened to you? 5871You must know what terrible things have befallen this island. All those ruins bursting from the ground... 5872Some of them rose in the middle of our farm and the Inquisition said we had to leave. 5873But my sons! My sons are still out there, somewhere! 5874They all went their own ways before these creatures came. 5875I hardly get a wink of sleep worrying about them. 5876Do you know where they are? Do you know where my sons are? 5877I have no idea. 5878If you hear anything or meet someone who s been outside, please don t forget to ask about them. Please... 5879I ll take a bed. 5880Tell you what. You ve got a honest face. Bit grubby, but honest. 5881You can pick out a bed whenever you like. 5882Is there anything I can do to help? 5883Well, you could find someone who wants to buy this stall? 5884Ideally someone who knows about fish... 5885Thanks...but I am still going to need that protection money. 5886Here. Take it, I hope I can get some peace now. 5887Why were you there? 5888The grumpy bastard was overcharging me for Brugle. He knew I needed it and knew I was nervous about getting caught. 5889I wanted to pay him back 5890So you killed him? 5891No! I was hoping to find out if the rumours were true about the gold being hidden there. 5892So, I followed him. 5893But he just had his secret little meeting and left. 5894Went back to his room and his mystery friend disappeared into the upper part of the Monastery. 5895The upper part? 5896Naturally, I couldn t follow him. I m not allowed up there. 5897Hemlar s murderer had access to the upper part of the Monastery. 5898What s in all these crates? 5899Whatever it is, it s damn heavy. 5900So, you don t actually know what s in them? 5901Trade goods, I ll wager. Spices, hides, stuff like that. 5902Who do they belong to? 5903The Order. Warehouse is theirs now. 5904What are they doing in there? 5905Storing stuff from the ruins, probably. 5906I have found Wisdom in Combat . 5907You could have told me it was a book. 5908Only a child expects the world to contain straight answers. 5909Even life itself is a riddle. 5910You may keep the book. Read it, if you have not already done so. 5911When you are finished, give it to someone else who will read it. Your test has been successfully completed. 5912I could work for you. 5913You want a chance? 5914I might need you. So, you have your chance. 5915This here is the fat cats quarter. 5916You don t just go from door to door, collecting protection money. 5917Those White Robe bastards are everywhere, and they see everything. 5918So, how does it work here? 5919Before I show you the tricks, you ll have to do something else for me. 5920I have something for you, Master. 5921My drawings! And supplies! 5922I can continue my work! 5923Thank you. Here take these potions - you deserve it! 5924Damn. You spotted me, huh? 5925Lost, are you? 5926This is no place to go wandering. 5927The Inquisitor sent me to talk to Don Esteban. 5928The Inquisitor? How was I to know? Go right in. 5929I heard you re holding a treasure seeker prisoner in the merchant district. 5930I m sure he knows something about the golden bowls, but he s not telling. 5931Damn him! He s really making me want to go to a dark place. I vowed to the Order I wouldn t go there again! 5932Maybe I can get some information out of him? 5933If you think you can, go ahead! 5934Better you do it, than I do. Or it ll be the, dark place and the blood and the... 5935So, here we are! 5936We can discuss everything here. 5937What else do you know about the Gyrger? (Pickpocket) 5938What else do you know about the Gyrger? 5939You ve come to the right man! I m the Gyrger expert around here. Nobody else knows the horrible stories I can tell you about him. 5940You know what, keep them to yourself. 5941Glad to see someone survived! 5942Are you all right? 5943Don t worry about me. 5944I m getting back to work. Need to protect the forge from these damn lizardmen. 5945I m thinking maybe I should tell the Don what I know, Brogar. 5946About what? My protective... supportive funds ? You think he d believe a little fish like you over me? 5947We ll see, shall we? 5948Look, let s not get into a fight over this. I ain t forgotten the last one. 5949I ll quieten things down, okay? Just don t think you can keep pissing me off. 5950Wouldn t dream of it. 5951Right, good, glad we got that clear. 5952Are you really threatening me. Are you really that stupid? 5953You haven t proven yourself to me , little fish. 5954Who s Mo? 5955My assistant. He s just doing his job as well. If you re missing your favourite milker, talk to the Order. 5956Commandant Carlos has summoned me. 5957I know. I ve been expecting you. 5958Then are you going to let me in? 5959Wouldn t be doing my job if I didn t. 5960Who might know where Captain Steelbeard is? 5961My crew have been hunting the cutthroat for months. 5962But found neither hide nor hair of the bastard. 5963I don t think Erikson will show his face here again. 5964That s a relief and a half, I tell you. You re a good man. 5965Here s that gold I promised. Don t worry, I ll earn it back soon enough. I got a few specialist tricks. 5966Take care of yourself, alright? 5967Thanks. You, too. 5968Your mother, Tilda, is worried about you. 5969Oh she s always worried. 5970The woman makes my life a misery! 5971Okay, okay. Clearly she s got nothing to be worried about. 5972Beppo is fine and doesn t need his mother constantly worrying about him. 5973Can you help me? I need to know where Konrad s cows are. 5974He has them in an enclosure at the rear town gate. 5975He has a farmer guard them. I don t know his name, but he looks tough. 5976I should pay that farmer a visit. 5977All the cows are Konrad s...apart from my Elsa. 5978At least they have spared her so far... 5979I m sorry. Krayban is dead. 5980A shame. A mistake. 5981I underestimated the danger of his task.... 5982Here. This is for your effort. 5983Anfanger (Schwertkampf 1) 5984How did you get in here? 5985Big hole in the wall. 0101_How to Draw Butts From Any Angle 尻をあらゆる方向から描く方法 https //www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlHVjklE8bc https //www.proko.com/how-to-draw-butts-from-any-angle/#.W6hUF2j7Q-U So in my very, very first video, my first lesson I ever posted, we learned how to draw the head from any angle. Now that we ve grown up and matured a little bit, we re gonna learn how to draw butts from any angle. So this is the second butt lesson. In the first one we learned the anatomy of the butt. And you can start with this one. You don t have to stop and go to that one. But make sure after this, you go and you watch the anatomy of the butt because knowing the anatomy of the butt will help you draw the butt from any angle. But why is it even important to know how to draw butts? Well, have you ever drawn a person without a butt? People look a lot better with butts. Some people are famous because they have a butt. Some people pay a lot of money to be around other people with butts. Some people get paid to teach people about butts. So butts are great, let me show you how to draw them. Two curves are not enough to draw butts. I mean, it looks like a butt, but it s a very cartoony butt. Butts are thick. We need some form to get a better grasp on them. And as always, I like to start simple. So I wanna remind you guys about the Robo Bean. We ll do a quick review of the Robo Bean, kind of quick. And actually, if you did take, or if you saw my Robo Bean video a while back, was it like four years ago? You kind of maybe dismissed it because maybe you didn t understand why that s important. This video will be really good to show you how to actually put it into practice and how it could be used in combination with some anatomical knowledge to construct the figure very well, very simply, very efficiently. From the back view, you have an elongated box for the rib cage, and then the lower box represents the hips. And that lower box for the hips, as you could see, it s much shorter, maybe a little more than half. From the back view, we can t tell it very well, I ll draw another side view here, but top one is tilted backward. So we ll see a little bit of the top plane up here and a little bit of the bottom plane here, because they re not stacked perfectly vertically. And we re looking at this from the back. Sorry, let me just do a side view for you just so we know we re on the same page. There s that bottom hip box. My point here is that they re not stacked vertically. You see this one is tilted back this way, and this one is tilted back this way. This gives the back a little bit of arch. So when we re looking from the back, we can see a little bit of this bottom plane right here. And this is kind of where the glutes will turn, and we ll see the bottom of the butt coming back into the leg. Now connecting these boxes is important. The distance you put between the boxes is important. I see both mistakes Sometimes people really increase that distance between the rib cage and the hip, and sometimes people just compress it and there s no distance at all. More so, I see too much distance. Because the distance between this is just enough for those love handles, the obliques. It s kind of like that tire form as if you re wearing an inner tube. We went over that in the oblique episode. And then, down here right below the top of the box, you ll have the sacral triangle, the butt crack. And then this corner right here, that s not the gluteal fold, that s not the bottom of the butt that you ll see, you know, as it meets the leg. This is the corner right here. Now sometimes, if the leg is being extended backward, let s say the leg is like someone s doing almost like the splits, then, yeah, the leg is coming up quite a bit. It compresses the butt and the gluteal fold will be there. But in a neutral pose, where the leg is just coming down like that, it will be down here. That s where you ll find the gluteal fold, so somewhere in here. And keep in mind, this is a male proportion Robo Bean. Just in a minute here, I ll show you a female version. Another very important part about drawing a butt is connecting it to the legs like I was just talking about here. So connecting it to the rib cage with this inner tube tire form, connecting it to the leg, where basically the leg would be, you know, two cylinders. I always think of the greater trochanter, the bony landmark from the femur right here on the side, pretty much right in the middle of this box. From there, that s where the leg cylinder will kind of curve out. This form up here isn t part of the leg. This is the gluteus medius. Sometimes it s very developed in people, and it could be quite large as we ll see in some of the poses later on in this video. On someone who is defined, an athletic guy, you ll have a curve here, and then you ll have another curve out for the legs. And one more thing I ll point out before I move on to something a little more interesting than just front and side view is right in here. So this right here is the iliac crest, the part of the pelvis, and then it comes down right in here before we actually connect the leg to it. The leg muscles don t go all the way up to the ASIS. Well, they do, but the form of the quads as you see it if we simplify it, it will kind of come in and it will end right there, and you ll have this vertical. They re created by the hip muscles. They re not part of the quads. And more specifically since we actually just learned this, it s the tensor fasciae latae muscle that kind of comes down from the ASIS point and connects kind of right in here to the side of the greater trochanter. And then you have gluteus medius right here, and gluteus maximus kind of wrapping around right there. So you see this box pretty much just contains all the glute muscles plus the tensor fasciae latae, the hip muscles. And then, they connect to the iliotibial band, which come down and attach down here at the knee. We learned this in the last lesson so let s move on. And I m gonna correct the proportions here in a little bit. It s kind of bothering me. I said that most of the time we make the mistake of making them too far apart and I did exactly that. Okay, now let s explore the female proportions and the difference there. We ll start with this very similar shape for the rib cage. Let s make sure it s the same size here. Either the same size or maybe just a little bit smaller, a little narrower, but I m doing roughly the same size just so you could see the relationship between rib cage and the hips, male versus female. So here you go, female rib cage. The distance is gonna be pretty much the same. Now the width of the pelvis is gonna be wider, and it s gonna be more of a bell curve, kind of getting a little bit wider towards the bottom. You know, same thing again, we re seeing the bottom plane. Maybe even more so because a female spine is a little bit more flexible, and so this angle difference between the top and bottom is gonna be more extreme in a female. The biggest difference, male versus female, is that on a male, you re seeing it s pretty much just a straight line down. Everything is the same width. Here, we re gonna get more of that hour glass thing that you hear about. Bell curve at the bottom for the hips. And now, look at the waist area. Here we got a tire form, kind of just two curves, symmetrical. On a female, you can t just do a straight curve down because the hips get wider. What ends up happening is more like something like this ideally. Like on an idealized female, it will curve inward because the muscle isn t as developed as on a guy. Now of course, muscle isn t the only thing that causes... you know, that creates the form of the love handles, fat as well. So a female with maybe a little bit more fat in the waist, you ll get outward curves. Idealized, you see this all the time in like superheroes just like we re drawing more of an idealized guy, more muscular, more defined. We ll draw an idealized female, thinner in the waist, wider in the hip, thinner in the rib cage, okay. And then the same thing here, you ll have the sacral triangle just a little bit below. So these points, the PSIS points are just a little bit under sacral triangle. And one other thing. Interesting, there is gonna be a little bit of a gap on a female between the legs. The reason is because on the pelvis, the bones are actually spread out more, they re farther apart, and so the muscles connect farther apart, and then there s a gap. If there s more fat on the female or the muscles are very developed, that gap can close. But, just in relationship, the differences between male and female is that in men, the hips are more narrower, the legs are closer together. On a female, the hips are wider and legs are a little bit farther apart. Just a little bit of a gap. And so you can kind of see. I mean, I think it s pretty obvious. This is a male, that s a female. Overall though, the size difference, this looks like she s just a bigger person. That s because men have bigger rib cages. I drew the rib cages the same size to show you guys the relationships, but overall, if you have an average male, average female standing next to each other, she would just be smaller overall. Everything would just shrink. So now we understand the back, we understand the side, we understand male versus female. We got the general forms kind of figured out, right. But how do we draw this from any angle, right? That s the whole video. Well, now, we got to start thinking of this as actual boxes and not just rectangles. So, hopefully, you re comfortable drawing boxes because if you re not comfortable drawing boxes, you re not gonna be able to draw people from any angle. It s just... I mean, it just make sense, right? Like if you can t draw something as simple as a box, how are you expecting to be comfortable drawing something as complicated as people? So my point is, if you can t do this, if you can t draw a box like this, in perspective, freehand, I think maybe it s a little bit too early for you to be studying anatomy, and maybe go back to the figure course, learn simple forms, learn how to draw boxes. But there s the rib cage. It s basically these two planes, the back plane, the side plane in perspective. And I m drawing this from the front just to show you guys, in general, the Robo Bean concept. And now, this is tilting back a little. Now the bottom will be tilted forward a little bit, but the back edges, see the back edges are just right on top of each other. They re not touching, but they re aligned. And so, I could start with that back edge just to make sure it s aligned, and then tilt that top plane downward. So there s the top of the hips. And I know that these are the same width, so I m not worried right now. I m not thinking about, you know, adjusting the hip, the width of the box. I m just kind of dropping all these straight down, and then tilting this box back. Okay, so there s the Robo Bean in three quarters. It s in a neutral pose. There s no twist. There s no lean. There s no tilt forward. But that s what we ll do next. But first, we gotta be able to draw them in neutral pose like this. So this relationship showing you how you guys should relate these edges, these planes, that s important for you to understand, that you think about the angle differences. When this tilts, we re not gonna have the luxury of making this just kind of straight down, but we can start from straight down and then we can imagine the tilt and we can go from there. So, great exercises just to draw these forms from just many different angles back, front, side, looking up at it, looking down at it. Then, once you re comfortable with a neutral pose, then you can start moving the forms. And if it is maybe just a little bit too difficult for you to do this, you re struggling. You know how to draw a box, but you re just struggling a little bit to get these, remember the bean, not the Robo Bean, but just the bean. You can start with kind of a rough two-dimensional shape for these forms just to kind of get your mind to imagine those forms a little bit better, get the center line in there. Then you can start imagining the planes a little bit better, you know, and so on and so forth. I could take that bean and start making it into a Robo Bean. Okay, let s draw some poses. So this is the fun part. This is where we actually take this information and then we put into practice. So I m gonna start with this photo of Yoni because it s not too crazy. It s almost a neutral pose. His rib cage is pretty much kind of that... 彼の胸郭はほとんどこんな感じで... the same angle as we already drew, just pretty much straight from the back. It s got a little bit of a lean, right? It s not straight up and down. It s leaning to the left a little bit. But we re looking straight at the rib cage. The hips are twisting, so that s where we re adding a little bit of motion now, but it s very little. So one of the first things I like to look at when I m deciding how to place the two boxes is the angles of the shoulders. So I could see that the shoulders are kind of going up a little bit this way so I m creating that angle, and then the angle of the hips. And you can use the landmarks, and you can kind of see it around his waist, there s an angle there. And it s a little bit stronger, it s not parallel to the shoulders, something like that. And then, you know, it swings outward this way. But we re seeing a little bit of the side plane here. So this edge, right here, that s not the back edge, that s actually the front edge. The back edge is gonna be over here, and I think that it s gonna be... 背面の角はこれです、私が考えるにこれは... we re not gonna really see the top plane of that box. It s gonna be just a little bit downward. And so maybe we ll see a little bit of the bottom of this box, just like that. So there s a little bit of a twist there. So if we continue this, it will attach to the side of the rib cage. Now on this side, there s compression going on, right? These corners are closer together than these corners, and so, the oblique is gonna pop out a little bit. And Yoni s obliques aren t very full, so it s not the best example for the obliques, but I m just gonna exaggerate a little bit. And then, it kind of follows this curvature in here. There s a little wrinkle or the crease in here shows a twist a little bit. It reveals the twist a little more. But right here, this bulge in the oblique is gonna help to show the compression. On this side, it s stretched out more, and so you re not gonna get a giant bulge like that. That would be kind of strange. It s gonna be stretching out. And then, maybe you ll see a little bit of a bulge, just a very, very subtle volume down here as it attaches to the front of the pelvis. And then there s that tire. It s gonna be taller on this side, more straight, stretched out. Shorter on this side and bulging out. So the tire deforms with... タイヤチューブは変形します... you know, it has to kind of deform in order to fit between the rib cage and pelvis. You don t see any dimples on him, but I can kind of see where they would be, right where the pelvis kind of comes down. You can see that little shadow, and then right there, that s where the PSIS points are. There s the sacral triangle, beginning of the butt crack, and then it will continue downward. Remember, this edge is not the gluteal fold where it meets the leg. That s just the outermost point of the glutes. The glutes then starts to curve in a little bit and then they attach to the leg down here. Then we attach very simple cylinders to the bottom of that pelvis. And when you draw these lines, the connections between the glutes and the legs, think about the position of the leg. If it s being pulled back a little bit, you re going to curve the gluteal fold around the cylinder of the leg. If it s going forward, you re gonna pull it the other way. And we re gonna see this in a lot of other examples that are much more clear, but in general, just start to, you know, think about how the leg influences the form of the glutes. And that s basically, I mean, we got the basic form there. We can develop it a little more like, you know, start putting in a little bit of a core shadow. I m gonna keep this a little bit simple for this first drawing. Greater trochanter will be right there. The gluteus maximus just kind of goes in there. Tensor fasciae latae, right in there. And then, this whole mass in here is gluteus medius right above the greater trochanter. Of course, we can also start adding... you know, if I was to continue this drawing, I would add more information up here. Like, you know, his arm is extending out, which is bringing the lat muscle out more, and the neck would continue this gesture. So look what we have here. We basically... 我々は基本的に... the body is made up of two boxes. You got a rib cage, pelvis as boxes with the tire form in between. And then from that torso, you have five cylinders that are coming out cylinders of the legs, cylinders of the arms, cylinder of the neck. And those forms, let s see, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight forms, when you know how to control them and how they move in relationship to each other, you can build the body. And I just realized I forgot core shadow in here, simple design. Okay, so let s do another one, and then one from imagination. So here s a side view. Again, it s Yoni. We re pretty much looking right at the side and he s leaning forward a little bit, and he s twisting his pelvis, arching his back just a little bit. His hips are coming up, but again, he s twisting. So we re not just looking at the side of that pelvis. And actually, I m probably seeing a little bit of the top plane as well. So kind of indicate very simple top plane. There you go. So we re seeing a little... they re a very thin plane in there. Okay, most of the mass of the obliques is gonna be towards the front. In the back, you re not gonna get as much of a bulge. It s gonna be maybe more of a straight line, sometimes an inward curve. But it s not gonna bulge out as much as it does from a side view, like in there. So there s... kind of, if I take that inner tube of the obliques, and I think of it as not a perfect cylinder, but it has a side plane and a front plane, it would look like that. Okay, and then, the leg is just continuing that gesture backward. I m gonna show a little bit of compression here. Again, the leg is coming back. And similar to a bean, you know, the compressed side is gonna have this tension, and the stretched side is going to be elongated. And on the other side, a little straight, plane down, and then the leg will come out from here. You can see a really nice indication right along this edge of the tensor fasciae latae. That defines that front edge of the box. You can see a real strong core shadow right there. Even though that muscle is being kind of stretched out, you can still see it pretty clearly. And then his gluteus medius not very clear, but it will be right here. And then, this is the gluteus maximus coming out. Okay, cool, so we know we can look at a photo, we can kind of figure out what the boxes are, and then deconstruct that. I mean, this is useful not just to draw from life. We can use these simple forms, and if we ve memorized them, and we understand how they move, we can invent the body. We could just draw from our imagination. It makes it much easier to draw from imagination if that s how you think. You know, there s some people like Kim Jung Gi, who... 例えば、Kim Jung Gi(キム・ジョンギ)のような画家がいます... he can start with the details. He doesn t have to start with simple forms and then add on to it. But I m not like that, I need to construct. So let s try one more from the front because we got... さて、もう一つ、前から見たものを描いてみましょう、なぜなら、 we did a back view, we did a side view. Let s do one from the front now, and also kind of include the twist. So I m gonna start with the rib cage and I m actually gonna show a little bit of a side plane of that rib cage. So the center line will be over here. The rib cage faced directly towards me. Then I m gonna twist the pelvis to point the other way. So the rib cage is pointing that way, I m gonna make the pelvis point the other way. And also, I want to kind of tilt that a little bit. Shoulders, I guess I ve made the shoulders pretty much horizontal. Again, I m gonna make the pelvis lean this way. And even though the front planes aren t aligned, they should still be the same width. I should still consider the width here and the width here, and in perspective, they should feel like they re the same on a guy, and I m a drawing a guy here, so. And I m twisting here, right? So this pelvis is gonna be facing more to this way. Now, let s think of what connects them, the oblique. This side is pinching, and so, it s got... the oblique on here is going to be compressed, but it s also twisting. So I m gonna have this S curve in here. I m not gonna go into the lats right now. I m just thinking of simple forms. On this side, the oblique will connect along the top edge of the box, that s the iliac crest and stretch, because this is the stretching side. Okay, now, I m gonna just connect this center line to make one nice S curve. It s already feeling like a body twisting. I don t feel any of the anatomy there. It s very simple, but this makes it very easy for me to start imagining the forms and start placing them on top. So right here, let s say that s the pubic bone, and then, let s say the crest of the rib cage starts there, very simple bony landmarks. And then the abs will be in between that kind of twist with that S curve, okay. Belly button will be in here. Now, let s put those cylinders for the legs. His right leg is just gonna continue down kind of continue that gesture. It should be swinging that way to go along with the motion of the hips going that way. And actually, I should extend this leg cylinder up a little higher. Remember, from the iliac crest, the ASIS point, it will come down a little bit. And then the leg cylinder starts. Yeah, right about there. And then, the back leg, I m just gonna bring it the other way behind him. Okay, so pretty quickly, we ve established the motion of the body here. Okay, so let s move forward now. Let s do a few poses of females. First thing I m seeing, rib cage leaning this way, right? You could see that angle very clearly. Shoulders, something like this. And as far as if we re seeing the top or bottom plane, I m thinking probably, I d be leaning towards seeing more of the top plane of the shoulders, because, you know, remember the rib cage leans back in a neutral pose. And she is kind of twisting and even maybe leaning back a little more, arching her back. And so, I wanna make sure I m showing that. So there, a little bit of a top plane. And on the female, sometimes I don t even think of the box. Sometimes I just do like a cylinder for the top, and the center line, and that s kind of enough. Just because, in general, I wanna keep the female forms rounder, softer, and when I start putting too many boxes everywhere, it starts to look a little more masculine. So even in the hips, maybe think more of a bell curve kind of like a skirt shape. And actually, I think I m seeing a little mistake I m making. You see the little dimples on her back, that s two perfect landmarks to show you the exact angle of the box or the bell curve, whatever. I m making it way too horizontal. What s happening is there s not much of a bending in the waist. It s more of the whole torso is angled outward pushing the one side of the hip that way. So I m seeing a little bit of the side plane here as well, but notice how I m curving this. Yeah, and actually, in the spine, the spine tells us that there s not much pinching going on because this angle in here is almost the same as this angle of the top. There s a little bit of a stronger angle in the rib cage, maybe adjust that a little bit and make this a little more vertical. There, just a little bit. But mostly, the tension is happening in the hip, right here. So as I attach this leg cylinder, and then the other leg cylinder. Again, starts at the greater trochanter, comes out, okay. Now coming back to that gluteal fold, remember, the left leg is coming back more, the right leg is going forward more. And so look at the difference in the shapes I m gonna create. Right in here, and I can kind of see this shape a little bit in the photos as well. It s going down like that. And then on the other side, that will go the other way. Now, another concept that I wanna repeat, this is from the butt lesson on butt anatomy. There s the butterfly. So right in here, it s gonna pinch. We got two... 尻には二つの... basically, remember, two ovals on each side. On this side, you got an oval like this and like this, and then on this side, same thing although we ll see a little bit more, and then another one over here. And you can kind of see on the contour there, there s a little indentation. And so basically, you have the gluteus medius form with some fat extending out, comes in right in the middle of the hip. And then, another fat pad comes out and goes right into the leg. Now on this side, there s gonna be more compression because on here this is popping out. On here, it s going in. And so, you ll get more of an overlap between those forms, but it s the same forms. And actually, I just noticed that there s a little bit of twist, so I m gonna move the center line a little bit and that s what these wrinkles are, these creases are for. They show the twisting of the body a little bit better. And then, naturally those butterfly ovals will kind of create that sacral triangle. Let s add a little bit of a shadow pattern here real quick just because it really helps to reveal the forms. So this is the back plane, and right in here, we re going into more of a bottom plane. So there s the turn, but it still soft forms, so I m gonna keep the edge of my core shadow soft. And then on this side, I m gonna design the shadow pattern to reveal that butterfly shape a little bit more. Okay, good enough. This is how to draw butts, not how to draw the whole body. So let s move on to another one. This time I wanna do a more lean female just to show you that even on a really lean female, the butterfly still exists. And it s a butterfly that s based on not just on the musculature like on a guy, but it s based on some fat as well, even on a lean female. So Shannon is leaning forward quite a bit. Before we start, this is actually a very important thing, before you guys start drawing, don t just jump in. I was about to just jump in before I even looked at the photograph. Before you start drawing, spend a few minutes just looking. Try to imagine these boxes on her, and have a clear picture in your head. Have all those decisions made already before you put any marks on the page. Drawing isn t just about putting marks on the page, it s about thinking about what you re gonna do and having a clear vision. So, okay, I m looking at her. I m seeing that... I can see the side of her rib cage on the right side. I don t see the left side of her rib cage, probably seeing the bottom because I don t see the tops of her shoulders at all. So we re looking up at her rib cage a little bit. And then for the pelvis, I m seeing mostly the back. I m seeing more of the back of the pelvis than I m seeing the back of the rib cage. So there s a little bit of a twist going on, and it looks like the pelvis box is almost vertical. It s just vertical, and it s rotated a little bit so I can see the side. Okay, I got a clear vision and now let s represent it. If you have reference, that s good that you can start with maybe a little gestural curve. That angle is like that, and then I can add the sides. That gives me a much clearer idea of the plane here. If you re making it up from your mind, you might not be able to see those curves as clearly. Okay, so again, I ve captured a little bit of twist because look how close the center line is to the back edge up here, but it s very close to the middle here. So there s a little bit of a twist going on. I m seeing a little bit of a side plane here and a lot of side plane here, very compressed. I think it s important in this pose to design these obliques. A few pinching creases in here, and then the rib cage just kind of comes out from there. On this side, I m seeing a little bit of an oblique form, and then it gets really thin, stretches out, even gets concave in there as it makes its way to the rib cage, stretched out. And then, right in here, right where we got the top of the pelvis, then I m starting to see that butterfly shape. So I got one oval here, and then another one here. And you can see these forms. When you look at the contour, you re seeing one bump, two, and three. You guys see all those? This first one, that s the oblique attaching to the iliac crest. Then here you got the gluteus medius coming out, and then at the greater trochanter, we begin the leg with a fat pad on the side of the leg. That completes the butterfly shape right in here, this fat pad. Same thing on this side, except we re not seeing that pinch in here, the way the light is right now, it s not revealing this form very well because it s very flat lit in that area. The light s pointing right at it, but right there is the greater trochanter. That s where the leg cylinder comes out, and then actually the gluteal fold will be up here. This oval I put in, that kind of describes the entire fat pad, but the gluteal fold as it meets the leg, right there. This one is different because it s stretching, and I m gonna celebrate those differences. I m not gonna try to just make things like this, you know, in here. I m gonna celebrate that this is more of a straight. This is more of a curve that s stretching down into the leg. There s compression in here and there s stretching in here. Remember these angles, always be comparing these angles and the angle of the center line. I love those core shadows. So let s get those in there. Now, I see on this side, it s kind of just going like this, but I want to maybe reveal that butterfly shape, again, a little bit more than in the photograph. So what I m gonna do is in here I m gonna curve it back a little bit and create a straight right there. That actually will create a little more tension. It will follow this, give a parallel, reinforce this straight. Here you go. And then on this side, I don t wanna reinforce into straights instead I want to continue this curve down the leg, much more open curve. See how I m creating a lot more zigzags in this side even in here for this, the fat pad. Little zigzag from the crease into the core shadow, and then, again, in here into the leg. Zigzags create tension. Let s have even more fun with this one. Let s fill in the shadow. All right, cool. So definitely, you know, very three-dimensional. We ve captured the motion of the body by analyzing the three-dimensional forms and how they re related to each other. Okay, so I hope that helps you get a better grasp on the butt. In the next lesson, we re going to take a look at some extreme angles, up shots, down shots, and seated poses. So let s head over to the next episode.

The caster summons an Earth Elemental to aid him in a battle. Earth Elementals are robust and regenerate damage. They can trample enemies or strike with mighty fists. Elementals shrink when they are hit by powerful strikes.
